Title: Faith That Doesn't Stay
faith that doesn't stop

Genesis 11:27-32
Almost at the same time as last year's church founding service, our church started spiritual training for the whole school. This is the 'Home Worship and Cutie Sharing Paper' distributed every week, and we also read the Bible together.
More than I thought, many members are used to or satisfied with just coming to church once a week to worship and listen to the Word.
However, in order for our faith to grow properly, we must have a godly life where we meet and practice the Lord through the Word, prayer, and praise every day. Only when we eat the word of the living God and prayer, which is the breath of our souls, must be in our lives for a week, our faith can grow and we can live with strength and wisdom in the world. That's why I started personal spirituality training, and these days, I can hear pleasant sounds.
A deacon's family started having family worship a while ago, and it is said that the atmosphere in the family improves and, in particular, they see that their children are spiritually and emotionally stable. There is a big difference between a family with and without family worship. In this age when families are falling apart, the best way to protect and nurture the family that God has established is family worship. God gives grace to the place where the whole family worships. Have a family worship service.
Some say that there is a grace that is newly realized through Cutie and thank you. Cutie is not just a time to read the Bible and pray. Hearing God's voice through meditation. So, looking at people who are good at cutie, there is a realization of the Word.
I also did cutie training in my 20s, and I received answers to my prayers for 7 years through Cutie, and I was able to experience the grace of God's Word, sweeter than honey. Start your day with Cutie. Every day will be different.
Also, someone started reading the Bible. As far as I know, you are reading the Bible for the first time in your life, and although it is a bit difficult, I think you will read it to the end.
Isn't it obvious? Just as God is alive, so is the Word of God. Those who long for God's Word and eat it every day are given the grace of enlightenment, change and growth. I hope you all reach this point too.
When we read the Bible, there are places where we feel difficult or blocked, but it is usually the genealogy. Many unfamiliar names come up, and those names are the same, especially when there is no information about the person.
However, the genealogy of the Bible is not simply a list of who begot whom. The basis of this is how this person was called by God and how God worked through this person. It is history itself.
Genealogy is a vivid historical record that shows what kind of people God worked through. So, if you know the flow and contents of the entire Bible, your genealogy will be easier and more visible, and you will receive grace through that genealogy.
Today's text is also part of the genealogy. A brief description of a man named Terah. In the past, too, genealogy was not interesting and did not catch my eye, so I skimmed through it. But one day, while reading it carefully, I discovered that there are sometimes records about certain people in genealogy that are different from others.
For example, Jabez, whom we spoke to at the last Songgu Youngshin service, is such a person. In 1 Chronicles 4, the genealogy is found, and the case of Jabez is shorter than other people, but there is a record of it. Through that record, we can learn what kind of person Jabez was, how God worked through his painful past, and what kind of grace he gave him. That's why the book "The Prayer of Jabez" came out.
The same goes for Dera. Terah has six more lines than the others, whereas the others listed above are lists of who gave birth to whom and at what age.
