Title: Faith that moves (Mark 2:1-12)

Today, I would like to deliver a message under the title of Faith that Moves with the words of Mark 2:1-12. I hope it will be a time of grace for each other.

The main character of the coming text is a paralyzed man, and we see this paralytic victorious through faith that moves. As you all know, what happens if you get paralytic?

Your body will be paralyzed and you will be unable to move.

However, the paralytic who appears today seems to be a very severely paralyzed man.

If you look at the fact that they were pulled up on a stretcher by four men.

Everyone, this paralyzed man had a moving faith that he would not be discouraged even if he was stricken with such a serious disease and that he would meet Jesus and heal him. The moving faith in his heart called for four friends to take him to Jesus, persuaded them to prepare a bed, and he was able to go far away.

If we were paralyzed like this, we would lie down at home and invite the pastor, and if the pastor didn't come, we would complain and then give up. This is because there is no moving faith in our hearts.

Everyone, I have come to you through hard work, but there were so many people who came to hear the rumor that Jesus was there, and it is written that it was impossible to stand at the door.

Where is Capernaum? This is Jesus' second home. Here, Jesus was the place where Peter, Andrew, James, John, Matthew, and the five disciples were called, and the centurion's servant was half paralyzed, Peter's mother-in-law had a fever, and many miracles. No doubt.

However, even in front of the door, there are so many people who can't help but block the gate, but the paralytic who has faith that moves even if they can't get in does not give up or get frustrated. Send me down before Jesus, everyone, this is faith that moves. Everyone went crazy, but the paralytic developed a belief that no one else could even think of.

What was the result? Verse 5 says that when Jesus saw the faith of the paralytic, your sins were firstly forgiven you, son. Hallelujah Amen.

So, this paralytic was sick because of sin.

There are many kinds of diseases. There are diseases that come because of sin, diseases that the devil gives, diseases that come by mistake, diseases that die, etc." But it was all because of sin.

All of you must succeed, but especially your life of faith must be more successful

Look at the paralyzed man. When he fell ill and became a no-nonsense person, there was no one to help him, so he went down through the roof. However, when he met Jesus and healed his sickness and got up from the same bed, there was no one telling him to get out, but everyone turned to the road and applauded and congratulated him.

In this way, if you do not succeed in your life of faith, you will be persecuted and ridiculed by everyone, but if you succeed, you will be respected and glorify God.

At the church where I was a layman, there was a woman named deacon Park 00, who lived very poorly. But in my opinion, she really prayed a lot. Rain or shine, there was a rumor in the church that he went to the church every night for twelve months a year and stayed up all night to pray. It was so rumored that many people said that the pulpit at the bottom of the church was wet with the tears of Deacon Park 00. On Sundays, I pray all night and have a morning service, and when everyone returns, I stay alone and clean the inside of the church by wiping and wiping the dust on the chairs in the temple that have been accumulated for a week. However, everyone who attends the church is not praising the faithful, but rather persecuting them.

“Deacon Park, is there anything that works out because you pray so much? Does God bless you by serving like that? If it’s me, I’ll put an envelope during my all night prayer. While people are evangelizing, who will see you and believe in Jesus?Deacon Park was persecuted by many people, but I saw how he did not give up on prayer and evangelism and worked diligently.

Then one day, in my memory, I remember around the end of January 1984. I am leading the New Year's Blessing Meeting at the Bethel Fasting and Prayer Center, where I am the director, and that day was Thursday at 2pm for the gifting meeting. During the sermon, the prayer center's wife came to her and asked if she had made an offering on the pulpit in advance. The members are watching and I am also preaching, so I gave all the donation envelopes to my wife without asking. And after the service, I went into the dormitory and called my wife and said, "I will hardly be able to bring my wife's offering after worship. But what my wife said was

"I'm sorry, but it was because of Butler Park."

"Why does Butler Park bring the donation bag in advance?"

When I heard that, I thought it was a good thing, but I solved it once, but I was not sure what to do next. During the evening worship service that day, someone told Deacon Park the motive for getting the gift bag in advance during the daytime. Please tell me if there is someone who will be in charge of tuition for my daughter until she graduates from university. He said that he could not afford to pay tuition for his children because he was poor, but he prays a lot, so if there is someone who needs intercessory prayer, it would be good to establish fellowship with him. But that night, an old woman came to my dorm and asked me to meet Deacon Park, who said she prayed a lot. My grandmother fled to South Korea before the 6.25 Incident and lost her husband's children. Living alone, I have a lot of wealth, but I have no children to help me. If I entrust my daughter to her, she will think like a child and teach me to study.

I asked where is your home

"It's Dogok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Then, Grandma, tomorrow I will go to the Independent Moon Church for all-night worship."

We made an appointment to meet at church, met Deacon Park and his daughter there, and went to my grandmother's house at dawn to worship and plant her as a foster daughter. But my grandmother is a butler

"What does your husband do? How many members of your family do you have?" is to ask.

"Yes, my grandmother's husband is working, but he has no work, so he plays. The family is seven."

"Is that so? Five children?"

"Yes that's right."

"Yes. If it's okay with Butler Park, there's an empty shed across from our house, so live there and help me. Then I'll take responsibility for all the children."

that is. I saw Deacon Park and her daughter rejoicing, saying they did not know whether it was a dream or real life.

A few days later, rumors spread about the church that Deacon Park attends. From then on, everyone I met said that he was doing well... Yes, that's how it happened. Thank you to me. I prayed to God because I was pitiful, Deacon Bak. God heard my prayer and blessed Deacon Bak. Everyone I met said the same thing. Folks, this is the world. Don't be ridiculed in this world, and like paralytics, we bless you in the name of the Lord so that we can become people of faith that move even when adversity and misfortune come. Amen
