Title: Faith that pleases God (Isaiah 58:1~12)
Content There are children who make their parents happy, and there are children who do not, but rather hurt their parents' hearts. The words of today's text are that the religious life of the people of Israel at that time lacked vitality and was a formal faith based on inertia and helpless customs. That is, wrong fasting and improper Sabbath observance. They prided themselves on being the chosen people and practiced their own religious regulations, but the truth was rather lost, and they could not receive God's answers and blessings. At this time, we want to bring forth grace together with the word of faith that pleases God.
1. Faith of Restoration (8-then your light will shine like morning, and your healing will be swift)
At that time, the Israelites kept God's law, prayed to God, and went up to God's temple to worship God.
The problem, however, is that they keep God's law and go to the temple to worship. But the Israelites fasted and prayed, but there was no answer from God.
However, we only stand upright with the faith that pleases God, and the blessing of restoration will come.
Dear saints, As long as you live right before God, your soul will be restored, your heart will be restored, your home will be restored, your business will be restored, and your disease will be restored.
2. Faith in answering (9-When you call, I, Jehovah, will answer)
The Israelites complained that God did not answer their fasting prayers, but if they practice a true fast that is pleasing to God, God will immediately answer that I am here. We can discover an important truth in relation to prayer answers here. It is not how long you cry out loudly does not determine the answer to prayer, but the religious attitude of the cryer.
Dear saints, God does not look at religious deeds, he does not look at formal deeds, he sees sincerity. look at the center If you pray with faith that pleases God, God will answer you as promised.
3. Blessing of the Watered Garden
(11-I will satisfy your soul, and I will strengthen your bones, and you will be like a watered garden.)
At that time, the nation of Israel was destroyed, the people were taken captive, and Israel was scattered in all directions like a dry garden.
However, as God waters a parched garden, He pours out new grace, and speaks of Israel's affluent life.
Dear saints, In the meantime, because of Israel's sins, the spring of God's grace has dried up, and the stream of God's blessing has dried up. But now, by the grace of God, the fountain of grace bursts and the stream of blessing springs up, and the water flows into every corner of the garden, causing the garden to overflow with water.
