Faith with Enlightenment
Matthew 16:5-12
Words that are always thoughtless are a problem. Words without faith are always a problem. When someone called [Day] speaks, he tells them to think and say at least three things. First, I was told to ask, ‘Is what I am saying the truth? Sometimes we say it's someone else's language. We're good at saying things like, "Well, they said that." and "Well, that's right." Whatever anyone says, as long as my mouth speaks it, it is my words. Don't say it's someone else's. It's someone else's, but when I say it, it's my own. Those who hear through me should know that they are listening with my words. So, you have to be careful with your words, but you also have to take responsibility. What is the conclusion? I mean, it's not easy to talk about. In particular, believers must take responsibility before God for what they say. The second thing is to think, ‘Is this what I should say or is it really necessary in this situation?’ This is because words can change significantly depending on time and place. For example, something went missing and it flipped over. However, if you take someone you don't really care about and say, "I heard that person has bad hand habit...", then you suddenly become a thief. You have to be careful.
Now, I saw the great miracle of feeding 5,000 of these disciples who appeared in today's text, but I forgot them all. Not even that thrill. They forget that ability and resent each other recklessly. So Jesus says, “Do you not understand? can't you even remember Why are you discussing with each other?” The Pharisees' yeast is likened to when he says to beware of hypocrisy, formalism, hypocrisy, and selfishness, secularism. It spreads with terrifying power. Therefore, be careful.” But why are you thinking only about bread without realizing it in front of this important lesson? That is where unbelief is. When the Israelites came out of Egypt, they saw ten plagues. And I was thrilled to cross the Red Sea. However, I can't even go for two weeks, so I forget that grace and complain. And we must not forget that the decisive charge that they did not enter into Canaan was the sin of blaming. If you don't realize grace, you will be rude and resentful.
So, we must listen to Jesus today. “Do you not understand?” and “Do you not remember?” Everyone, do not become forgetful about grace. Grace should be remembered for a long time. If you are moved by that great grace, remembering that grace and living will make it easier to solve today's problems. How to live in this difficult world is nothing. The moment we are moved by the great grace that God has given us without sparing His Son, all of today's problems will be resolved. Grace is grace when you realize it. And you have to remember it to turn it into an ability. In the end, it is faith that realizes grace, remembers grace, and interprets and solves all today's problems with that memory of grace.
Fish have an IQ of 0.3. When he sees other fish being caught and dragged out of the water, he bites again. Someone said that politicians have an IQ of 0.3. If you see your fellow politicians taking bribes and taking bribes again and again, they said that 10 years ago, last year, and today, politicians who are being taken away still happen, and it will continue to happen tomorrow and in the future. However, you must not become a Christian whose IQ is below 0.3, who forgets the grace of the past and does not believe in God while seeing the people next to him believe in God and receive blessings.
