1. So, what good is it to be a Jew? Is there anything that makes it more beneficial than the Gentiles?
(Romans 3:1-2) Then what is the healing of the Jews, and what is the benefit of circumcision? many in all things; the first is that they were entrusted with the word of God.
It is a privilege and pride to have the Jews entrusted with the word of God.
However, when he could not fulfill his duties as an entrusted person and turned his back on God, then God blessed the Gentiles.
2. If people are unfaithful, will God invalidate His promises?
(Romans 3:3-4) What if some have not believed? Their unbelief destroys the faithfulness of God.
I don't know
That is, because of Israel's present disobedience, will God undo the fulfillment of future promises to them?
the answer is clear
(Romans 3:4) It cannot be so. Let all men say that they are lies, but God is true, as it is written, that by your word you may be justified and overcome when you are judged.
(2 Timothy 2:13) Although we may be unfaithful, the Lord is faithful, and he cannot deny himself (Romans 2:13)
(Romans 11:25) I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brethren, so that you may not be wise in yourselves, which is that Israel has hardened in part, until the fulness of the Gentiles has come in.
3. If man's unrighteousness became a means of showing God's glory, can unrighteousness be justified?
Injustice is just injustice. Even if our injustice became an opportunity to save more souls, it cannot be justified and this injustice will be judged.
(Romans 3:6) Not so. If so, how will God judge the world?
(Romans 3:7) But if by my lies the truthfulness of God abounds to his glory, how shall I be judged as a sinner?
(Romans 3:8) Or, then, shall we not say, Let us do evil for good?
4. Today, if all truths are considered to be interrelated but relative, that is, when right and wrong are considered to depend on the circumstances in which they are placed (situational ethics), it will be common to think of doing evil for the good of people. Or go further and say, “The end justifies the means” would be the universal view.
But to those who thought this way, Paul declared, “It is right for them to be appointed” (8).
