Title: Farmer, Vine and Branches
1. Introduction
When I hear the parables of Jesus, I always feel how exquisite it is. So is the parable of the farmer, the vine, and the branches. God the Father is the farmer, Jesus is the vine, and we are the branches. Today I would like to meditate on the words of this parable.
2. The work of the farmer, the work of the vine, and the work of the vine branch
A farmer's job is to water the vine to keep it alive, to fertilize the vine so that it can grow well, and to catch all kinds of insects that block the growth of the vine.
The vine's job is to draw up the water provided by the farmer and supply it to each branch, absorb manure well and make each branch grow so that it bears fertile fruit, and each branch attacks by insects attached to it. It is to provide resistance to defeat the
What do eggplants do? The only thing a branch does is stick well to the vine. Are the branches well attached to the vine? Do you fall off the vine? There is only one thing to do.
3. Blessings of a vine branch that is well attached to it
first. God the Father said he was a farmer. The farmer provides, above all, water for the vines themselves to survive. Spiritually speaking, this water means life itself, being alive, and the very meaning of existence. Jesus, the Vine, draws out this eternal spring of water that sustains the life of this very being, and pours it out generously and abundantly on the branches attached to him. Therefore, a branch that is firmly attached to the vine can live abundantly in the joy of life itself, the joy of existence itself, and the meaning of existence.
People pursue youth, wealth, health, power, and fame. It is because they think that if they are equipped with such things, they will be able to enjoy the full meaning of life. Nicodemus was such a person. He was young, healthy, full of power, fame and wealth. Even though he had all these things, he could not taste the joy of the kingdom of God. His soul was not at true peace.
Only when we cling to Jesus, the vine, can we receive the blessing of enjoying the eternal life of water that He supplies, the joy of existence itself and the peace of life itself.
second. As a farmer, God the Father provides abundant good fertile manure so that it can bear beautiful fruits. This manure is spiritual power, authority, and power in a spiritual sense. Each branch can receive this spiritual power and power from Jesus, the vine.
In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, who is the vine, John and Peter raised up the lame, preached the gospel, and cast out demons. The apostle Paul testified aloud that nothing was impossible in Christ Jesus. The Apostle John said that he drank without exhaustion the river of life, which flowed like a river in Christ Jesus.
There is an amazing insight that penetrates the lungs in Jesus. There is a strange wisdom in telling Caesar to give Caesar's things to God. Father, you have the power of infinite love to forgive their sins. Every branch attached to the vine is blessed with the same power and power.
third. As a farmer, God the Father is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in mercy. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him (Psalm 103:8,13). Just as a farmer catches all kinds of worms from branches, God the Father washed away our sins as pure as snow with the blood of his only Son, Jesus Christ.
In Jesus, who is the vine, the power of the blood to wash away sins flows like the sea. Therefore, if anyone is firmly attached to this vine, no matter what sins he has committed or how many sins he has committed, he can be forgiven and live a new life. What did Jesus say to the woman caught in adultery? <Woman, where are those who accused you? Has no one condemned you? Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more. John 8:10-11> What does it mean? Aren't you saying that I have forgiven your sins and told you to go and start a new life again? Being able to start over! Oh, what a gracious word.
In Jesus, the vine, grace and power to wash away and forgive sins are flowing and flowing like a river. Anyone who sticks to this vine will receive a very graceful blessing of being washed away from their sins. The blessing of being able to start over.
4. Closing story
A vine branch can do one of two things, whether it stays on the vine or falls off. The result is 鸚⒴$阿뗥량. Jesus said, ?쏛 branch that is not attached can do nothing. The attached branch can do anything.>
