Title: How to live in abundance
Contents:
People are impatient and chased, and they can't live happily ever after. There are many people who have lived such a miserable life even after piling up little by little. In the Bible, there are many lives and families living in abundance. Zacchaeus understood it, Barnabas knew it, and the Apostle Paul understood the truth. David had such a difficult life, but he lived a prosperous life in his old age.
How can we live a rich and satisfying life like David in the text?
1, You must be satisfied with Jehovah.
The world is not satisfied.
Psalm 23:1 “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
Such faith was the power that enriched David's life.
Hab 3:17-18 “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I rejoice in the LORD, We will rejoice in the God of our salvation.”
① Those who believe in God live believing that good days will surely come.
David lived his life believing that good days would surely come, even though he felt the pain of his enemies piercing his bones. This is a person who lives by faith.
② We must live with Jehovah as our shepherd and follow Him to the end.
It means to endure the sufferings of the present while seeing the glory ahead. Even if it is difficult now, we must hold on to the covenant of better blessings and endure because the word is unchanging. A woman named Ruth was a hopeless foreign woman, and although the road ahead was dark, she followed the path of faith until the end and became a blessed woman.
2. Learning the way of life of Jesus.
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Jesus.”
Giving life: When you give, you become prosperous.
When you try to get drunk, you become impatient, but when you give, you become relaxed.
Jesus: You have nothing for yourself.
He even has nowhere to lay his head.
But he is the most prosperous
He has enriched many people.
