Title: How to Meet God

Exodus (86) How to meet God

(Exodus 29:38-46)

1. Regular prayer

During the seven-day priestly commissioning ceremony, during the daily regular burnt offering, two lambs of one year old were offered, one in the morning and the other in the evening (verses 38-39). Likewise, the sacrifices offered at a set time every morning and evening develop into a regular prayer life offered at a set time later (Acts 3:1).

Why is regular prayer important? This is because regular prayer is evidence that prayer is being practiced. Pray always, but have a separate regular prayer time. Regular prayer becomes much more powerful prayer. When Elijah asked for a fire to come down on the altar from the top of Mount Carmel, after pouring water, he waited until the evening meal offering, the regular prayer time of the Israelites, before praying. Then the fire of heaven fell. That scene also shows the importance of regular prayer time.

Some people pray only when they have problems, and some pray only when they are admitted. However, it is important to set aside regular prayer times. The source of Daniel's great power was his regular one three prayers a day, with the window open to Judea. Even though Jesus was so busy, he went out to a quiet place to pray. If you make and keep the early morning prayer time as a regular prayer time, you will surely experience the presence of God and experience prayer answers.

2. Dedicated life

In Israeli society, when offering a regular burnt offering, a grain offering and a drink offering were usually offered as well. At the time of the regular burnt offering, one lamb was added with a tenth of an ephah of fine flour and a quarter of a hin of crushed oil, and a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering (verse 40). Here, the flour and oil are the grain offerings, and the wine is the drink offering.

A drink offering was a sacrifice in which wine (wine) was sprinkled on the sacrifice, which was offered with the morning and evening during the regular burnt offering (Numbers 28:7), and was also offered during the Sabbath sacrifice (Numbers 28:14). Although its procedures and methods are not accurately described in the Bible, the premises symbolize dedicated service. When he devotes himself to God, the church, and for his precious values, God will meet him and reward him greatly for his devotion.

In 1 Samuel 2, what happened when Hannah sacrificed one of her hard-earned and precious son Samuel? Later, he gave birth to three more sons and two daughters. You sacrifice one person and you get five times the life. That is God's way. God is not a debtor who has to pay something back to the person who gave it, but the fact is that God gives deep encounters to those who are dedicated and also gives generous rewards.

3. A life of gratitude

The grain offering was a side offering of the regular burnt offering, and the offerings included bread, firstfruits, fine flour, and oil. The grain offering was a sacrifice to express gratitude to God, and the remainder after the sacrifice was returned to the priests' portion as in other sacrifices (Lev 2:3). God comes to the grateful heart. Therefore, if you want to be blessed, train your gratitude constantly.

Sometimes it is hard to see the exit, there is no one to help, and there is no place to complain. When I woke up in the morning, there were times when I ran to church with a lot of pressure under the weight of life. So, how grateful we are to have worship, the Word, and prayers?

Although all people have difficulties, it is not only because of luck that they are still alive, but because of God's grace. Don't forget that grace. Anyone who is immersed in the pitiful memories of insignificant things in the past becomes mentally ill. So, don't get too caught up in past hurtful things. The more we forget the damage, the better, but the less we forget the grace, the better Write damage records in sand and grace records in marble.

A life that realizes and appreciates grace creates miracles. If you give thanks, God will assign you a good person. Prayers of thanksgiving are also answered quickly. When you live with the words ?hank you!??in your mouth, the other person will also feel better and try to do better. After all, the greatest word that attracts people beautifully is ?hank you.??When you hear those words and try to help someone more, the chances of your life as a work increase naturally.
