Title: How will I achieve my vision?
How will I achieve my vision in 2012?
Text/ Proverbs 13:4
1. Introduction
For the past few weeks, I have meditated on the 2012 Vision for My Body - My Work - My Soul. Those who have a vision-dream-goal-hope-wish and those who do not have a different dimension of life. In the rough mountains-sea-wilderness, those with and without a compass are as different as the woman with extra oil and the woman without.
However, in the concrete reality of life, there are those who have achieved their vision-dream-goal-hope-wish and those who have not. The ratio is called “5:95”. Why?
2. It is because it is 苦海無邊 (the suffering of life has no end).
Some came out of this world with a gold spoon - some with a broken, rusty spoon. What fates impose, that man must needs abide! But statistics show that the suicide rates of the rich and poor are similar. Why? This is because the reality of life itself is that there are more 苦(high) than 樂(樂).
生老病death - 愛別離苦 (farewell - the pain of having to part with the one you love) - 怨憎 苦 (reviewing the original story - the pain of meeting someone you don't want) - 求得不苦 (working hard - not getting what you want) Suffering) - 五蘊盛苦 (Oonseonggo - suffering from receiving the body).
Natural disasters such as floods, droughts, extreme cold, heat waves, typhoons, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes, wars, fires, traffic accidents, etc.
In addition, my body-my work-my spirit vision-dream-goal-hope-wish-realization is necessary in all fields of this world (religion-politics-economics-study-literature-art-sports, etc.) The difficulties we have to face in order to achieve our dreams which we must face the physical, psychological, and social barriers we have to endure difficulties obstacles and the dilemmas, are overcome. It is literally 苦海無邊 (high seawater no change).
"Dream comes true!" That's a really cool thing to say. However, there is a lot of foam in these words. When the bubble is blown out, “Dreams come true. But only to those who are willing to suffer!” Therefore, when talking about dreams, visions, goals, hopes, and wishes, the words most mobilized are 忍耐 (patience)-甘受 (supervision)-克己 (self-discipline)-堅忍 (persuence)-persistence-constant-unchangeable-endure. All-abide-steady-nothing free-diligent-abide-bear-continue-stand-endure-tolerate-patience-perseverance-brook etc.
3. How will I achieve my vision in 2012?
How will I achieve my vision-dream-goal-hope-wish for my body-my work-my soul in 2012?
We all know the “right answer”. You know it so well!
As stock investor Warren Buffett said, “There are only two ways to succeed in stocks. Principle 1 - Never forget the principal. The 2nd Principle - I will protect the 1st Principle at the risk of my life." Are you kidding me? Does it sound obvious? Not at all, not joking - not at all, not for granted. It's a really scary truth, and it's really a secret among secrets.
There is only one way to achieve the vision of my body. Chew and eat three meals a day at a set amount at a set time go to bed early and wake up early to work hard. There is only one way to achieve the vision of my work.用志不分 乃凝於神 (Respond to one's own business - risking one's life for one's work). There is only one way to achieve the vision of my spirit.敬天愛人 (Gyeongcheon lover: love God with all your heart, mind, strength, and life + love for people Matthew 22:37-40).
When you watch interviews with all the outliers in the world (those who have built a family by using their natural talents geniuses), they say, “How did you achieve such a feat?” To the moderators who asked, they all answered, "I didn't do anything special - I just kept doing what everyone else was doing - The secret? There is no such thing. I just worked hard every day.”
They bluntly say we thought we were going to tell you something secret, but there was none. We say, “Is that possible? You must have had your own know-how! I'm pretty sure it was a bit successful, but...”
But that's not it. Most of us say, “Stay!”-“Hard!” which is key during their interview. I don't really listen to that. Behind the plain words of “steadfastly-hardworking” they said was “constant practice for over 10,000 hours.” The trick was that.
Are you trying to achieve the vision of My Body-My Work-My Soul in 2012?
Remember today's text. “The sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied (Proverbs 13:4). At the end of this year, “I didn’t do anything special. I just kept doing what everyone else was doing working hard!” In the name of our Lord Jesus, I bless you that you will be able to be interviewed calmly! Blessings! Blessings! do.
