1. Today is the fourth Sunday of Advent. Many people think that this Christmas will regain its original meaning. This is because Christmas is quieter than before due to the IMF cold wave. In the past, there were a lot of lively people and busy Christmas decorations, but this year, there are not many Christmas songs in the city. This is because the birth of Jesus came to give hope to the poor and lowly people of this earth on a truly quiet and holy night, not expecting the blessings of many lives. In the Gospels, only the Gospel of Luke introduces the story of the birth of Jesus the most, and the Gospel of Mark does not even tell about his childhood. What was important was His life and His Word, because this is the heart of the Bible.
2. There must be a good meeting. In the text of the text, we see the meeting between Elizabeth and the Virgin Mary. Their meeting was a preparatory meeting for God's holy work. It is a life that prepares for historical events that are helpful and joyful to each other. (Galatians 5:13) The future of Judah, an abandoned land, and barren Israel will come true because of this event of faith. is. Now, what our country also needs after the presidential election is the united power of the people and the capacity of leaders. Now, realizing that division or selfishness will only darken our future, it should be a good meeting for the 21st century. (Galatians 6:8) Good meeting is 1) rejoicing with each other. 2) Giving a genuine helping hand. 3) Knowing your location right away. Good meeting can produce good results (synergy effect) (Romans 8:28).
3. It must be the age in which God's power is revealed. (1 Corinthians 4:20) God's will is to change this world into the kingdom of heaven. Methodists confess that 'the human society in which God's will has been realized is heaven'. This is to accomplish the Lord's will in the real world. Those who oppress, threaten the survival of the people, and those who wield power are broken, scattering, and empty-handed by God. (Psalm 11:5) I remember the bad things well. The struggle for democratization that took place against this eventually won, and the church understood and accepted these efforts as God's righteous judgment (1 Timothy 5:20). Also, confessing once again that our ups and downs were a false reality before God. Meanwhile, the economic sanctions imposed by the IMF should serve as an opportunity to make a fresh start for tomorrow as a step backwards for a new future. We must learn to fear the work of God in us (2 Corinthians 7:1).
4. There must be a sacrifice of praise. As Elizabeth said, 'Blessed is the woman who believes', only faith can save us, change us, and shape our future (Ephesians 3:12). praised the grace. We can praise God because we have faith that He will be with us forever (Isa 49:15). No one can be with us forever, and no one can be with us, but the Lord is with us from the beginning to the end. I will keep you and stay with you. Moreover, what we prepare by faith is because the Lord will surely do it for His glory and for us. (Philippians 1:6) The Lord has commanded us to believe and pray so that we may become those who accomplish God's will. This is because he wants to continue the work of the Lord through faith (Hebrews 13:21).

Merciful God, a new era is upon us.
Many people who have been waiting for the year of the Lord's grace with the overwhelming emotion of hope are rejoicing. The hatred and the bitterness that permeated my heart are all disappearing. I praise the Lord for giving joy to the hearts of the people who were really waiting for the Lord's judgment to be delayed.
Realize that the injustices of the times will always be judged, and please hold on to us so that we can raise our spirituality so that we can always reflect on ourselves and live. Please forgive us as we repent as we grieve for our lives, where we had our hearts set on greed, debauchery, and vanity as we did yesterday. Accept our hearts of rejoicing in your kingdom and of giving thanks for your everlasting love.
The Lord who cares for the unfortunate and comforts those who are in trouble and conflict, gives courage to those who have been living in the chaos of survival Please always believe and depend on the facts.

At a time when the gospel of Christ is rooted in our lives and all the people should taste the joy of true freedom and peace, our society is still surrounded by the darkness of the times and suffering. Looking at the assumption that the 'Memorandum of Understanding for Loan Agreement' between the Korean government and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was delivered on December 3rd, we felt how serious this pain was. The people who indulged in unrestricted luxury life in the face of this economic crisis caused by collusion between chaebol corporations preoccupied with corrupt politics and lax expansion is a difficult reality in which our church, resting in the wave, is also forced to take responsibility.
Even now, we want to take the lead in defeating the darkness by understanding the deep will of God hidden in this darkness. When the people of Israel were living miserable and gloomy days when they were captives in Babylon, the tradition of the old prophets who showed them the vision of returning to Jerusalem and rebuilding the temple is revived today, and our church is now a hopeless people. We must assume the role of providing The glory of God will be even greater if our Methodist community, the descendants of the national leaders who were at the forefront of national salvation, preaching the gospel of Christ through words and actions during the late Joseon Dynasty, when it was like a windmill, or during the gloomy Japanese colonial era, rises to fulfill this mission once again. It will shine. Its grace will abound throughout the nation. Being deeply aware of this, we declare the following will to practice, both inside and outside the church. All Methodist churches are encouraged to practice the following:
Let's move forward with the repentance movement. - Absence of prophetic criticism and request for prayer movement
Let's move forward with the restraint movement. - Sincere stewardship, open account to save the country, frugal meeting place
Let's spread the sharing movement. - Helping neighbors, Anabada (save, share-, change-, rewrite) movement
Let the church promote the spread of this movement through all media.
