Title: I Am a Man of Miracles Text: Joshua 10:1-14

1. A person of miracles is a person who believes and practices God's promises.

Joshua 10:8 Joshua was well aware of his painful mistakes. So, perhaps, before this war, I asked God. At that time, God gave Joshua the words of verse 8 of the text to Joshua. First, do not be afraid of the five kings of the Amorites. Second, God had already planned to deliver the five kings and their armies into Joshua's hand to defeat them and overcome them. Third, none of the five kings can be against you, and no one can defeat you. It is saying that no matter how strong a human being, he cannot overcome a person with God. These are the words God gave to Joshua before the war. God's miracle was waiting in front of Joshua and the people of Israel who believed in this promise and went out. Miracles happen to those who thoroughly believe and keep the Word of God.

2. A person of miracles is a person of prayer.

Joshua 10:12 The original meaning of the word 'aronda' here is 'to speak'. In this bloody moment of war, Joshua put God first. And I never forgot to pray to God. What else in the world is as dangerous and urgent as war? Even in such a dangerous moment, Joshua did not forget to pray to God. When a believer encounters the most dangerous thing, the first and most important thing to do is to seek God and pray. That prayer is the prayer that works miracles. Psalm 146:3 Miracles are those of prayer. Miracles belong to those who do not forget God and seek God even in extreme circumstances. Isaiah 58:9 Psalm 50:15

3. A person of miracles is a person of absolute faith.

The Apostle Paul lived with such absolute faith. Acts 21:13 Acts 19:12

4. The source of miracles is God.

Joshua 10:14 The miracle did not come from Joshua. Joshua only prayed, Joshua only commanded, and Joshua only waged war. Miracles come from God. The source of miracles is God. Because the LORD heard Joshua's voice and set the sun over Gibeon by the power of God, and the moon over the valley of Aijalon. Because God fought for Israel.
