Title: I'm Never a Product of Coincidence
Text: Psalm 139:13-16
We all have birthdays. It is a precious day and a blessed day. So we all gather on that day to celebrate. It is very sad and disappointing to spend that day alone without anyone noticing it. However, there are those who regard that day as a mistake. And some call that day bad luck. There are those who say that it would have been better if I had not been born.
How are you?
1. We are not born by chance.
We were never born into this world by accident. It wasn't even born by mistake. We are born in God's plan. Even if our parents didn't have a plan, God had us in mind and had a plan for our existence long before our parents created us. The fact that we are breathing right now is neither a meaningless fate nor a coincidence that happened suddenly.
Our parents did not make us. The Bible clearly says it. “You formed my internal organs and formed me in my womb.” (13) God created us. Like the creation of the heavens and the earth, He made us very precious. The New Translation of the Bible supports this fact by writing that it was created and put together.
God created even the smallest parts of our bodies. He carefully selected race, skin color, hair, and the traits that we have, and he custom-made us just as God wanted us to be. Because God knows all of our bodies, we cannot hide them from Him.(15) Before my body was formed, the Lord was looking at me, and before my day began and even a day (before the appointed day began, New Translation) You have written it all in your book.(16)
Even God has set our ages and decided where to live. (Acts 17:26 He made all the peoples of mankind as one blood and made them dwell in all the earth, and He established their ages and defined the boundaries of their habitation.)
These verses are saying that any part of our lives has a good reason and a purpose. It is not that we were born on this earth by chance or by mistake.
Many children can be born against their parents' plans, but never without God's purpose.
God never does anything by accident and never makes a mistake.
After the Philistines placed the ark of the covenant that they had taken from Israel in their temple and cut their own god in half, to find out if it was a coincidence or whether it was really God's work, they separated two milking cows from their calves and put the ark on the cart. and let the cart be pulled. If you go to Beth Shemesh, you will admit that it is not a coincidence. Leaving behind the cries of the calf looking for the mother cow, the two cows lead the cart carrying the ark and go up to Beth Shemesh without anyone leading them. Eventually, the Philistines will admit that it was not a coincidence. (1 Samuel 6)
2. God created us out of love.
When God created man, he created Adam and Eve after creating everything necessary for man. This fact is a very clear indication of how much God loves life. The reason God created the universe is for humans. Don't you know how great the universe is? You have created this wonderful world for humans. He created the environment for us to live on.
Why did God take the pains to create the universe? Why did you create the earth? Because he loves us. God is love (1 John 4:8), so you cannot do things that are against love.
We are objects of God's love. It is the most valuable of God's creations.
But what is more precious and precious is that God has made us a special object. God has chosen us to be holy and without blemish.
“God chose us and loved us in Christ before the creation of the world, so that we might be holy and blameless before God” (Ephesians 1:4).
God created us to love us, and he loved us especially and saved us to live on the truth. It's never just been given such an opportunity. You are responsible for the end.
“Listen to me, O house of Jacob, all that are left of the house of Israel, you who were born in the womb to me and carried on me from the womb, I will do this to your old age, and I will bear you until you are gray. I will carry it, and I will embrace it, ask for it, and bring it down” (Isaiah 46:3-4).
God made us into the world with love, and through special love made us become children of God.
God does not do everything blindly. God plans and does everything precisely. Even all animals and plants were created according to God's plan. God created everything with a purpose. Therefore, I have to humbly accept everything including my existence, condition, and environment. You have to accept everything that you don't like and work hard to discover God's purpose. We need to know the very important meaning of our lives that are loved by God and that we have received special love.
Its meaning and purpose are discovered when we live in relationship with God.
This is why we need to develop our relationship with God.
I pray in the name of the Lord that all the saints will discover the meaning and purpose of my life by deepening their relationship with God in the faith that they are born in God's love and are saved.
