Title: I Am Always With You

Bible: Psalm 73:17-28

Starting Point of the Word>>

Today, this time I would like to share the title of “I am with you always”

If you look at the politics of our country, it makes you think that you have no true convictions, no loyalty, and that everyone is doing self-centered politics.

As a result, during the election season, they search for people who can benefit them, which is a factor that continues the vicious cycle of yesterday's enemies becoming comrades and yesterday's comrades becoming enemies for their own political position.

Of course, politics in other countries would be the same, but I think Korea is the only country that is being disgraced in the world.

However, I am saddened that the faith of the saints today seems to be gradually changing like this.

If you hear a famous pastor appearing somewhere, you rush to it, and if there is someone with the gift of healing, you run to it. It's possible.

Whenever I see such saints, I have a question in my heart, “Will God be with them?”

The young people of the church I served as an evangelist followed me saying ‘Thursday praise meeting’ or ‘Tuesday meeting’, so I encouraged them to come to the church I had seen on Wednesday or Friday prayer.

Then they replied, “There is no emotion in our church, there is emotion there.”

So, when I asked, “Well then, how about moving the church to a place where there is emotion?”, he cannot leave this church.

Did God really exist in their hearts?

Today, we want to see through the words of the text that the man named Asaph, who wrote Psalm 73, was a man who always wanted to be with the Lord.

Asaph, who wrote the text, was David's commander of the army and a seer who led the praises.

Looking at the words of Psalm 73:2-13, he saw that the righteous have many afflictions, but the wicked prosper and prosper, and he almost fell into temptation.

But he did not fall into trouble with such a test.

If we look at verse 17,

“When I entered your sanctuary, I understood their end.”

As he confessed that, realizing that there is God's judgment on the wicked, he restored his faith and praised God.

Today, we ask in the name of the Lord that through this poem of Asaph, it may be a time to realize together what kind of Lord the Lord is, whom we must always understand.

Go to Word>>

So, how is Asaph introducing the Lord he wants to be with today?

First, for Asaph, God is “the only Lord.”

If we look at verse 25,

“Who do I have in heaven except you? On earth I have no one to long for but you.”

praised.

In other words, the most important person in heaven and on earth is only the Lord.

The wicked say that they live by accomplishing everything through their righteousness, zeal and effort, but Asaph said that he came to understand God's plan to judge them as he entered the temple.

For such a person, it is an expression that he can no longer wish for if he is the Lord in heaven and the Lord who is on earth is always with him.

For him, it is an expression of faith that God is the only one who can save him.

Asaph confesses in verse 25 that the only person in heaven and on earth he desires is the Lord.

These words have meaning for us today.

According to John 14:1-2,

“Do not let your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions; otherwise I would have told you, I am going to prepare a place for you.”

Said.

Even now, our Lord Jesus said that he is in heaven for us, and that there he will prepare a place for us.

All of our worries and concerns today are the hearts of Satan.

However, the Lord is still holding on to our faith so that it does not weaken, and He is allowing us to live a life of continuous grace so that we can keep our faith.

In this way, Jesus gives us the strength to live with the hope of heaven.

Likewise, on this earth, we must remember that the only person we need to long for and depend on is the Lord.

The Lord knows all our circumstances, and even if we fail or fail, He always gives great grace and love to those who long for Him.

Today, like Asaph's confession, we too should be able to have the faith that "we have none but the Lord."

Second, today Asaph confesses, “God is the rock of my heart and my portion forever.”

If we look at the words of verse 26,

“My body and my mind are feeble, but God is the rock of my heart and an everlasting portion.”

To confess.

Asaph was moved when he saw that the righteous had many hardships and that the wicked were well and peaceful. But after realizing the deep will of God in the sanctuary, Asaph regained his peace of mind.

To him, God became the rock and gave him an eternal portion.

The word “rock” means a strong and strong foundation.

Even if the wind blows, rains, and floods come, if you stand with the rock of the Lord as your foundation, you have nothing to worry about.

Even if the world seems to be going well, God's way is that if you do not build a foundation on a rock, it will collapse in an instant.

Also, the eternal portion means that if we stand as God's holy people, if we build a firm foundation on the rock, endure in faith, and overcome, God will give us the kingdom of God, blessings, and eternal life.

I say this often, but I hope this is a time to entrust our heavy burdens to the Lord.

The faith of letting go is a beautiful expression of the faith of the saints who acknowledge our Lord as our rock and our portion.

Because we do not long for the Lord, we do not have the rock, and we do not regard it as our portion, we keep trying to use the things of the world as our rock and our portion.

Asaph was almost put to the test by looking at the things of the world, but he was able to realize God's great providence and grace by building up his faith and praying in the temple.

Third, Asaph, who made the above confession of faith, realized that “closer to God is my blessing.”

Looking at verses 27-28 of the text,

“Everyone who is far from you will perish, and you have destroyed all who have turned away from you like the harlot. It is a blessing for me to draw near to God.

confess that.

When Asaph worshiped God in the sanctuary, he realized that the wicked and the proud prosper for a while, but eventually perished.

The saints live in hope that they will be blessed.

Then, we must become saints who draw near to the Lord.

Example>>

It has been about 8 months since I came to the province.

But when other people see what I do, they think like someone who has been around for years.

When I have work to do with local pastors, I try to take the lead and work hard.

When I exercise, I am on duty on the water, and whenever I have an appointment, I always go first and wait.

After working hard like this, local pastors often call me if there is any problem.

There were also many benefits that come from hard work.

Likewise, if you work hard in your local work, you will be praised and you will receive benefits.

How much more can we draw closer to God?

Asaph said that it is a blessing to draw near to God.

We too must become saints who enjoy God's blessings by drawing closer to God.

When we look at the life of a believer who draws closer to God, we do our best to meditate on the word of God and live by putting it into practice.

They are also more zealous in worship.

Worship is the time when we can meet the Lord closest to us.

He is also a saint who always seeks God's help through earnest prayer.

Today, I ask in the name of the Lord that we too, like Asaph, who confesses that being close to the Lord is a blessing, will become believers who experience God's great and wonderful blessings by drawing near to the Lord.

Fourth, Asaph confesses that he will “declare all the deeds of the Lord” as a blessing.

If you look at the second half of verse 28,

“I will proclaim all your deeds”

and confess.

Asaph confessed that he would not only enjoy God's great grace alone, but would spread it to many people.

Likewise, we too must become saints who spread the gospel throughout the world.

We must tell that Jesus died on the cross because He loved us, and that He is still working for us.

Among the words spoken through our mouths, the most precious and blessed words are those that spread the gospel.

Evangelism is what Jesus commands us to do.

There is no command to do or not to do.

In other words, preaching the gospel is the highest command given to us and it is grace.

So Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9:16,

“If I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast about, because it is something I must do. If I do not preach the gospel, woe to me.”

said

Also, when we evangelize, our faith grows, and God's blessings increase and we can experience burdens.

I hope that you will become believers who testify of the grace of God we experienced today and spread the grace of Christ's salvation.

At the end of the speech>>

Organize your words.

Are we living a life of walking with the Lord now?

Was there not a time when you looked at the world like Asaph, blamed God, and fell into temptation?

I hope that today, like Asaph, we come to the temple to worship and confess that God is with us by faith.

We must remember that the Lord is our one and only Lord.

Also, believe that the Lord is my rock and my portion.

Blessed are we who draw near to the Lord.

I hope that we will not be saints who live by enjoying the blessings alone, but members who share and share with family, friends and neighbors.

I pray in the name of the Lord that you will become believers who experience the greater and more wonderful blessings and grace of God when we are with the Lord.
