Title: I Am the Lord!

Contents

After a long wait, Moses is finally standing in front of Pharaoh. Moses, who reappeared on the political stage in Egypt with a staff for the first time in 40 years, is truly shabby. Perhaps the ‘Egypt Daily’ at the time treated Moses’ appearance in a small way in the social aspect.

Now Moses goes to Pharaoh and begins to demand that the people of Israel be sent out into the wilderness, saying, ‘The LORD, the God of Israel, let my people go, and they will hold a feast before me in the wilderness. Then Pharaoh further oppressed the Israelites. It is a scheming that creates a rift between Moses, the leading force of the revolutionary Paran, and the people of Israel. Don't be deceived by Satan's delusions that say that your family is having trouble because of believing in Jesus. Played by Pharaoh's tactics, the people of Israel begin to blame Moses. Moses also complained to God that the people of Israel were suffering because of him, and God immediately spoke a serious word. Exodus 6:7 says, “I will make you my people, and I will be your God, and you will know that I am the Lord God, who brought you out of the burden of the Egyptians. Since then, these words have become an immovable foundation in Israel's history.

God also freed us from sin through Jesus Christ. Now he has made the gospel an immovable truth for us. Before that, my life was mine, but now our life is the Lord's, not ours. In the past, fate, experience, and knowledge moved me, but now the gospel of Jesus Christ has moved me. What a wonderful blessing from God. When we begin to believe in God, amazing things begin. You can enjoy the authority of God's children, be set free from all sins and curses right now, and enjoy the blessing of receiving answers to your prayers. You will also enjoy the true rest and peace that the Holy Spirit gives you. That is why I give you victory every day in the name of Jesus. What do you see as the providence of God who saved us?

However, Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who had served the Israelites as slaves for 400 years, did not let them go easily. When Moses spoke the name of Jehovah God in front of Pharaoh, his response was, “I do not know the Lord.” So God can only begin to reveal who you are...

Many plagues came upon Egypt, including the plague of blood, the plague of frogs, this plague, the plague of flies, the death and wickedness of livestock, poisoning, hail, locusts, and darkness. But the stubborn Pharaoh continues to refuse to let the Israelites go. Why did Pharaoh not let the Israelites go so easily? It is not for religious reasons, but for political and economic reasons. Pharaoh could not give up his constant greed and obsession, that is, the political and economic interests that could be gained by making the Israelites slaves. This is the reason why God recognized Pharaoh's rejection as a serious problem and continued to send disasters. The first three of the plagues struck by Pharaoh's stubbornness fell on both the Egyptians and the Israelites. It must have been difficult not only for the Egyptians but also for the Israelites at this time. But from the fourth plague, Israel and Egypt are separated (Exodus 8:21-24).

After the seventh hail plague came, Pharaoh, who had stiffened his head saying, “I do not know the Lord,” finally confessed, “I have sinned; the Lord is righteous, and I and my people are wicked” (Ex. Pharaoh knows what kind of person Han God is. Nevertheless, Pharaoh continues to reject God's command to "let my people go". Unfortunately, due to Pharaoh's still stubbornness and distrust, the disaster only deepens. As it goes on, Moses was recognized as a great leader in Israel and Egypt, and his majesty and leadership shine even more.

During the seventh plague of hail, there are people who want to avoid the eighth plague of locusts among the Egyptians who experienced that those who obey God's word could protect their property. Egyptian servants even appealed to Pharaoh, saying, “Do you not know that Egypt is still destroyed?” However, Pharaoh insists on his pride until the end. As a result, the plague of locusts and the plague of darkness came, and the negotiations between Moses and Pharaoh that lasted for six months ended with the refusal of Pharaoh.

When we look at Pharaoh's disobedience and God's discipline, we see a surprising fact. God shows that He is superior to all the idols of Egypt, and above all, He allows Pharaoh's greed to be completely put down. We see God who persuades and persuades Pharaoh's hardened heart through Moses, and God thoroughly prepares and proceeds to fulfill God's word. He is the God who makes the final approval of the Word of God.

The beginning and the end of all things show that Jehovah God is in control.

What remains now is to concretely realize the promises of Genesis 15:13-14 and Exodus 3:21-22, that is, the Israelites coming out of Egypt with great wealth. God has no choice but to order the tenth plague. In the end, Pharaoh, through his excessive greed for wealth, led not only himself but also the whole country to the point of irreversibility. The calamity suffered by Pharaoh and the Egyptians was the result of Pharaoh's disobedience.

What do we realize in the midst of foot-and-mouth disease, bird flu, and the continuing cold wave? It is also God who is in control of all these situations. Isn't another Pharaoh's arrogance, created by our pride and our greed for rejecting God's providence, being revealed in us? Then we should know right away. It means that Jehovah God is watching in all circumstances.

We must pray for the heart of God who is sorry for looking at Egypt, and now we must pray with a heart of regret as we look at the world through the Word. God who works through Moses wants to work through you today at home, at work, and in the field of life. To let you know that Jehovah God is real and is in control of all circumstances...
