A person who speaks English very well is natural to see foreigners. However, those who can speak a little English want to express themselves by saying a single word. People who are confident in their appearance do not pay much attention to makeup or clothes. However, people who are inferior in appearance tend to be very concerned about makeup and clothes. Students who are recognized by their friends and teachers are quiet in peace. However, students who feel they are not getting attention from their friends or teachers tend to draw people's attention to them, even by making funny jokes.
The reason most people have this tendency is that humans are inherently unstable and have a sense of harm. People are naturally anxious. People who are good at studying and people who can't study, people who have a lot of money or people who don't have money, there are different degrees of anxiety, but I feel anxious. And there is a sense of harm in people's hearts. In the case of teenagers, if a teenager stares at them for a little while while walking down the street, they try to fight by saying 'looked at' me. that he was ignoring himself. This is because of the sense of loss.
So, because people are anxious, they work hard towards stability. To make money, you don't earn it because you absolutely need it, but because you are anxious no matter how much you have, you try to have more. Also, because people have a sense of victimization, they try desperately to receive acceptance from people. I am most afraid of being rejected by my friends. In order to become like their peers, teenagers have to wear trendy clothes, have a cell phone, and use the Internet.
But what does the Bible say about all the actions people take to overcome their insecurity and sense of loss? It is said to 'do evil'. Verse 9 says, “There will be tribulation and distress for the spirit of every man who does evil, first of all, of the Jew and also of the Greek.” When people say 'evil', they mean harm to another person's body or property, such as violence or theft. However, 'evil' in the sight of God does not only refer to such things, but refers to people living as they please. It is called 'evil' to do whatever you want to do according to your own greed. People work hard in their own way for the sake of their anxiety and desire to be accepted. Some young people risk their lives to study well, some female students do their best to become pretty, some male students do their best to be recognized by their friends, and to gain popularity with their opposite sex friends. Who do young people envy the most? In the case of female students, they are friends who study well, are pretty and play well. This friend has it all.
So, are these friends really happy, content, and happy? They look happy from the side, but their hearts are not truly happy. You have everything that other people want, you do what you want, but there is no real satisfaction and joy. We often see popular singers and sports stars being investigated by the police for taking drugs, gambling or indulging in sexual promiscuity. They have a lot of money, they're famous and they have a lot of fans who like them, so what's lacking? The reason is that the things in this world cannot fill the anxiety and emptiness in them. You have all you can have, but the anxiety and emptiness inside you is unresolved. So to forget it, they take drugs, gamble, get drunk, or engage in sexual immorality. This is what the Bible says, 'Tribulation and distress in the heart and soul of each person who does evil'.
Anxiety and emptiness of heart are common conditions of all who have departed from God. A man's heart can only be filled by God. Adolescence is a more unstable period. Nothing has been decided and nothing to offer in front of others. I'm not even in a position to do anything on my own. Adolescence is the period when you have nothing of your own.
