Title: I Am With You
I am with you (Isaiah 41:10).
The year 2004 has begun, but the economy and politics are really dark and frustrating. The situation of our country today is the appearance of four thatched houses with the Egyptian army following from behind and the Red Sea blocking the front.
This is what he says to the people in front of the Red Sea. Do not be afraid, stand still and see the salvation the Lord will work for you today (Exodus 14:13).
I. God with me
If anyone says that he will be with us, it is God the Creator. Even Goliath was not feared by the boy David when he was with him. Even Joshua, who was trembling with fear, was able to carry on the great mission of Moses. So David confesses. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I am not afraid.
The coming-of-age ceremony in Africa is not until the son spends all night alone in the deep jungle. It's a time of fear, when the beasts cry out to devour. But at that time, the father hides all night and guards with a spear in his hand to save his son from wild beasts. In front of the dark reality ahead, we feel as if we are alone. It seems like no one is there to help me. But I am not alone. God is watching over me with eyes like flames.
II. the righteous hand of God
Who am I relying on? No power or man in this world can protect me. Don't be fooled. Only the hand of God's power can protect me from all tribulation and adversity. What is Heavenly Father's hand?
It is the hand that created the universe. That hand becomes the father's hand, and there is no place that does not reach. It is the hand that keeps us safe. Sometimes it is a hand of discipline that strikes a loved one. Healing hands. The hand of God is the hand that rescues us from danger.
<Concluding remarks>
God knows that it will be difficult and lonely for God's people to go to heaven, so God Himself came to this earth in a human body to take us safely to heaven.
If you're holding Jesus' hand and going to heaven, but it's a little cold, what's so great about that? It's okay to be a little sick, a little poor, a little uncomfortable.
Even if the whole world has abandoned me, betrayed me, and turned their backs on me, Jesus will never let go of his hand. Even if the whole world tramples me like a worm, Jesus never gives up on me.
