Title: I and the Father Are One

Contents

The Son is the image of the Father. Also, the servant is the image of the master. The result of these two becoming one is that the son absolutely obeys the father's command, and the slave absolutely obeys the master's command. Only then will the son become one with the father and the slave become one with the master. Unity is faith.

It is written, “I did not speak of my own will, but the Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and what to say, and I know that his commandment is eternal life. John 12:49-50) It is the same evidence.

Therefore, the Bible testifies that "... Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was preached among you, did not say yes and no, but in him it was only yes" (2 Corinthians 1:19).

Christ Jesus, the Son of the Father, again became a servant of God. It is the same as the words of the evidence that it is written, “Just as the Father has life in himself, so he also gave life to the Son so that he may have it in him, and because of his lovingkindness he gave the authority to judge” (John 5:26-27).

That is, according to the testimony of “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). is the form of God, so he is a servant of God.

When the son becomes a slave again, obedience and obedience become one, the son becomes a slave and becomes a perfect son. This truth is the secret of faith written, "...you are my son, and today I have begotten you, and again I will be a father to him, and he will be a son to me..." (Hebrews 1:5).

That is, “as for this Son, who was born of the lineage of David according to the flesh, and was declared the Son of God with power according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 1:3-4). It is like a word.

Christ, who is the mystery of God, said, “I did not come down from heaven to do my will, but to do the will of him who sent me. The will of him who sent me is that I will not lose any of those who have given me, but I will raise them up on the last day.” (John 6:38-39) It is the same evidence.

Regarding this truth, the Bible says, “While he was in the flesh, he offered up supplications and supplications with loud cries and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence. He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, and was called by God high priest in the order of Melchizedek” (Hebrews 5:7-10). That is, the mystery of the Word becoming flesh is the source of eternal salvation.

This is what he said to us, "When you were slaves to sin, you were free with respect to righteousness. What fruit did you get then? Now you are ashamed of it, for its end is death. have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God and have obtained the fruit that leads to holiness, and this end is eternal life” (Romans 6:20-22). If you have received the authority to become a child of God, now you have become servants of God in the image of the Son, who is the source of salvation, and have obtained the fruit that leads to holiness.

This proof is “Eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent” (John 17:3). His name, Jesus Christ, is the proof that “There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5).

Therefore, Jesus, who came in the flesh, said, “I and the Father are one.” The Jews were about to stone him again, but Jesus answered him, “I have shown you many good works through the Father.

The Jews answered, We do not stone you for good works, but because of blasphemy, that you, being a man, call yourself God.

Jesus said, "Is it not written in your law, 'I said you are gods'? The Bible cannot be abolished. If it is said that those who received the word of God are gods, how much more can you say that I am the Son of God, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world? How can you say that you are blasphemous?” (John 10:30-36).

This is the world where the Son of God is perfected as a son. As it is written, “Therefore a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and the two become one flesh, and this is a great mystery, I speak of Christ and of the church” (Ephesians 5:31-32). .

For this reason, we are now hearing that voice in our hearts and minds today, saying, “I have given them the glory that you have given me, so that they may be one as we are one” (John 17:22). . These are the words of God for us in Christ Jesus.

Son and Father, slave and master, form and substance, the secret of the two becoming one is known only to those who have the Spirit of the Son, who have the heart of Christ Jesus, and can only be realized in Christ Jesus.

Therefore, those who have the mind of Christ Jesus tell us now, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider equality with God to be robbery, but emptied himself of himself as a servant. He took a form and became like men, and being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of a cross.

Therefore God highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. made you turn

Therefore, my beloved, always obey, not only in my presence but even more now in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling” (Philippians 2:5-12).

Equality and oneness are different. To be equal is to become like God, and to become God himself. To become one is to be in the form of God, but rather to emptied oneself and become a servant, to become obedient even to death, serving God forever. It is the same as the words of the parable that was written, “From now on I am no longer worthy to be called your son; see me as one of the hired servants…” (Luke 15:19).

Therefore, trying to be equal with God is illegal and death. It is the same as Satan, who works among the sons of disobedience, cleverly seduced, saying, “God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:5). .

Satan, who tempted the first man, Adam, knows that his time is near, and is looking for someone to devour like a roaring lion. Therefore, “Do not let anyone deceive you in any way, for it will not come until the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or those who are worshiped, and exalts himself as God. sitting in the temple, showing himself that he is God

Then the lawless one will appear, and the Lord Jesus will kill him with the breath of his mouth, and will bring an end to him by his coming and appearing. It will come upon them, for they have not received the love of the truth, that they may be saved.

For this reason, God caused temptation to work in them to believe a lie, so that all who do not believe the truth and love unrighteousness may be condemned” (2 Thessalonians 2:3-12).

Therefore, I and my Father are not equal, but one. Amen, thank you Lord.
