Title: I Consider You Precious and Respectful...

Contents

Text: Isaiah 43:1-7

God blesses and loves His chosen people.

Isaiah 43:1 4 says, “...Do not be afraid, I have redeemed you, I have called you by name; you are mine, and I will be with you as you pass through water... I am honored and honored…” So, who are the blessed people of God? All of us who have received Jesus Christ as our Savior are God’s people, descendants of Abraham, and “precious and honorable,” chosen and loved by God. “If ye belong to Christ, ye are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29). However, there are times when we do not know this fact. Also, they do not know how to live a precious and dignified life. So, at this time, I want to receive grace while thinking about who is precious and honorable and how to live a precious and honorable life.

First, even sinners become precious and honorable when they accept God's love. “God demonstrates his love for us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). God loves us so much that He sent Jesus Christ to die for our sins on the cross. Therefore, whoever believes in Jesus Christ will not perish but have eternal life. Receive the blessing of becoming a child of God. John 1:12 says, “To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, the right to become children of God was given.” We must truly receive Jesus Christ in our hearts. In doing so, we become children of God, precious and precious, which cannot be changed even if given under the world.

Are we accepting this precious fact? Have we received Jesus as our center? When we accept Jesus, our hearts become brighter. If you accept Jesus, you will have hope. The true light shines in my heart, overflowing with peace and joy that the world cannot give. My heart is filled with the love of Christ. This love makes us precious and honorable every day.

Second, when we receive God's love, we naturally change.

The Lord loves me the way I am. He loves us wherever we are, whether we are in a high or low position. This love makes us precious and honorable. It is because Jesus is in us that we are transformed into precious and noble people. Philippians 1:6 “I am confident that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Christ Jesus.” The Lord transforms us in us day by day with his vast love.

We say that David's life was a beautiful and precious life. However, a closer look at his life reveals that he lived a difficult life. When his son Absalom picked up a knife to kill him, he was in such a hurry that he crossed the Kidron Creek without even putting on his shoes. There was a time when Saul was drooling and pretending to be crazy when he was chasing after him. David's life was not as smooth as we think. But the great thing about David was that he had the peace that God gave him. “The LORD is my shepherd, you shall not want” (Psalm 23:1). This is the blessing from the Lord.

David was always thankful to God. And he lived in a cedar palace, and when he saw the ark in the tent, he was heartbroken. So I say to the prophet Nathan. I want to build God's house. God is pleased with David's heart, and says that I will make your name honorable and precious among many. In this way, Jesus in us gives us peace and makes us precious and honorable no matter where we are or what our circumstances are.

Third, when we share the love we receive from God to the world, we become precious and honorable. In Luke 19, we find the story of Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus was a wealthy tax collector in Jericho. But no one treats him like a human being. Because he collected a lot of taxes from his people, gave them to Rome, and took care of the rest, people called him a tyrant who sucks the blood of his people. Neither the synagogue, nor the chapel, nor any place welcomed him. Jesus came to his house. After that he changed. Zacchaeus, who stole other people's money, offers to give up half of his wealth. If I extorted anything, I will pay you back four times. Because Jesus came into his heart. Jesus says to him. You too are a descendant of Abraham. You are also precious and honorable. If you accept Jesus, you will receive these blessings.

We have to live a life we only have once in a precious and honorable way. When we accept Jesus in our hearts, we become precious and honorable. I am convinced that the true light will shine in our hearts, we will have hope, and we will be filled with love to change our lives. Also, when we share the love of the Lord within us with our neighbors, our lives become more precious and honorable.
