Title: I Die Every Day

i die every day
1 Corinthians 15:31
It is painful to let go of the old one. It's hard to let go of mine. But the peace and freedom that the Lord lives in me is a joy that cannot be compared with that pain. Therefore, we must practice dying every day. You have to train because it's hard to die, because it's hard to let go. Training is something you do every day and it's something you do repeatedly.
1. We must kill greed.
We are tempted because we are drawn and deceived by lust. Yes, because of greed. Greed arises when comparing. When we compare ourselves to others, we fall into temptation because we do not give thanks and do not receive grace.
(James 1:14-15) “But each one is tempted, being drawn away and deceived by his own lust; and lust has conceived and gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.”
2. You must kill the blood.
In James 1:19, “You know, my beloved brethren, let everyone be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger.” . Blood doesn't die all at once. So you have to practice a lot. It's a practice to die every day. Even if you believe in Jesus, if your blood and blood are still alive, there is no grace. Our temperament is used by the Lord. But blood, anger, is something we have to slow down, control and ultimately kill.
3. Pride must be killed.
What is Pride? (Jeremiah 13:15) “Hear ye, give ear, and be not proud, thus saith the LORD.”
Pride means not listening to Jehovah. The reason I do not listen to God is because I think my thoughts and experiences are superior. We know that the Word is good, but in reality, we trust the know-how of life acquired while living rather than obeying the Word. When we look at the history of salvation in the Bible, God uses immigrants to unravel the history of salvation because the immigrants went through the process of letting go of their pride.
4. We must kill the limits of our thinking.
God is not confined to our thoughts. He is greater than we are, more than we can think and imagine. Therefore, it is impossible to confine our Lord within the framework of my thoughts. If my thoughts are trapped, I am also trapped and my ministry is also locked in. If we kill and break the frame of thought, there are many areas that I cannot do, so the Lord has more work to do. Then there will be many things to pray for.
