Title: I Know Your Circumstances
I know all about you. (Matthew 10:28-31)
The lyricist of Hymn 310, “Oh by the grace of God,” confesses: ‘I am sure of two things. ① The Lord knows all my circumstances well ② It is the fact that the Lord will always take care of me.’ Matthew 10 is the scene where Jesus selects and sends out the 12 disciples. Before sending out his disciples to evangelize, Jesus tells them two things. (1) Matthew 10:9-10. (Have nothing.) (2) Matthew 10:17-18. (You will suffer persecution.) When anyone feels that he has nothing, he will become anxious and have difficulties. My heart is shaken when I know in advance. So did the disciples. The words Jesus spoke at that time were the words of Matthew 10:28-31 that we read, and the essence of it is that “the matter of life and death depends on God, and God knows all our circumstances.” Even if your body dies, he tells you not to be afraid. Beloved, do not be afraid if you become ill. Life and death are in the hands of God. Being healthy doesn't mean you live long, and getting sick doesn't mean you die prematurely. More important than ‘Are you ill or not?’ is ‘the fact that God knows.’ (1 Samuel 2:6-7)
So what is our problem? It is said that they are afraid if their appearance is not good. When things get a little better, they make a fuss and think that the Lord knows my situation, but when things get a little difficult, they complain, resent and fear that God doesn't know my situation. Let me remember that the Lord knows my circumstances, in good times and in bad times. Also, the Lord, who knows all about my circumstances, knows the “exact time to give us what we need” just as He sent the early and latter rains appropriately for the Israelites’ farming (Deut. 11:14-15). Please be patient and wait a little longer. The One who generously gave even his only begotten Son, Jesus, would not give it because it was a pity? Do you want to receive the blessings of material blessings and healing, but there is no answer? On the other hand, I want you to consider the heart of God who can't give you because of your lack of faith and fear that you will stumble. In the name of Jesus, I pray that you will be well prepared for faith, receive great blessings in this once-in-a-lifetime world, be used with great value, and go to heaven with a great reward.
