Title: I Love the Lord
Contents
God created all things out of love. Love is the power that makes all things live and the power that gives meaning to everything. Without love, there is no life. The Apostle Paul also emphasizes in 1 Corinthians 13 that love is the supreme and everything. The core theme of all art in the East and West is also love. Without love we are futile. All our efforts without love are in vain, and without love, no effort can bear fruit. Tolstoy, a Russian writer, asks, “What do people live by?” His answer is also love. Man lives by love and lives by love.
Compared to love, the world's money, fame, power, and status have no value. Love is the supreme value of all things. Not only humans need love, animals and plants need it too. All living things need love. Foot-and-mouth disease, which has become a big social problem these days, is ultimately caused by the ruthless way of raising humans that lacks love for animals. Plants also grow better with the warmth and care of humans. Love is life. Love is the real reason for human happiness. Even if you have everything in the world, you will be unhappy if you do not have love. Even if you don't own anything, you're happy with love. The key to Jesus' salvation is love. The self-sacrificing love that Jesus showed on the cross saved us. The development of politics, economy, society and culture does not save us. Ultimately, it is God's love that saves us.
God is the root of all love. Our lifeline, love, is ultimately supplied by God. To truly love one another, we must accept God's love. Love without a relationship with God is only partial and temporary. The isolated love in man himself is not enough. A family, society, and nation can only be made whole through God's love. Therefore, building a relationship of love with God is our number one priority. When we have a loving relationship with God, everything we need is provided smoothly. But we are more zealous to own the things of the world that have strayed from the core. They just take that kind of attitude toward the Lord who really needs them. That is why we cannot enjoy the true blessing and power of faith.
Mary, who poured perfume on Jesus' feet and washed His feet with her hair, teaches us how to love Him. Like Mary, we must love God with all our heart and all our heart. Worship, prayer, meditation on the Word, service, and evangelism are one way to love God. Anything you do with a heart that truly loves God is great, no matter how big or small it is. When we build a loving relationship with God in this way, God's love will transform us and save us from all difficulties. Also, God's love through us will renew our homes, societies, and all mankind.
