Verse 16 'Meaning of 'Do not let your hands hang down'
body description
Verse 13 explains “a remnant of Israel… ”
These remnants, who await the dawn of hope, are of great interest to us.
Today's text is the message of encouragement given to the remnant who were still keeping their chastity amid all corruption, the remnant who remained faithful to God in the midst of all people giving up their faith and rejecting God. .
Ex) Those who remained in Elijah’s age
In the text, God appears as a God with many faces.
Verse 15 (appears like a king - exercise the power of pardon), verse 16 - like a warrior In verse 17, he appears like a lover.
Then he tells you to be strong.
Why do we need to be strong and not be discouraged?

Isaiah 1:18 “Come, let us reason together, says the LORD, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be like wool.”
1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

2. Because God is with you (verse 17).
"Practical Atheist" - These "practical atheists" refer to those who conceptually believe that God exists, but live their lives as if there is no God.
Are there no such people among us?
The church comes out, but I worship God, I sing praises, I pray, but in my life there is God or not, but it doesn't matter at all.
The problem is with practical atheists who live as if there is no God.
Example) Wife of the Reformer Martin Luther
God is among us today.
The God who is by my side, the God who walks with me, do you see the God who is present among us?
Every time my soul is depressed, whenever I am drawn into the abyss of unspeakable solitude, and whenever I feel tempted to throw it all away!
God is with me! The Lord is with me!
