Title [3.2] I must live right first
Content 0? Must live
(Nehemiah 13:1-9)
True faith is always the same. It is never desirable to be good when others see you and to indulge in indulgence when others do not. Secret prayer is the most powerful prayer, and secret devotion is the most blessed devotion. Wherever you are trying to expose yourself, you can see problems arise. A true Christian is a person who is faithful to his or her duties and does what he has to do. When there are many such people, the church community will also change.
Nehemiah 13 is a good description of Nehemiah's Reformation. In this chapter, we are talking about two things necessary for church reform.
1. What should be thrown away
The great men of the Bible were all people who knew how to let go of things that should be thrown away. Because of these people, new history could be created. There are three things we need to drive out when we harm the soul and the church. The first is to drive out Ammon and Moab. Ammon and Moab refer to secular ideas within the church. We must break free from secularism. Second, you must drive out Tobiah. The priest Eliashib gave preference to Tobiah, who had interfered with the rebuilding of the wall. For this reason, after Nehemiah's disappearance, the people quickly fell into self-indulgence. Here, Dobiya symbolizes human resourcefulness and a life of ups and downs. Such a life can lead many saints into self-indulgence. That is why we must drive out Tobiah within us. Third, we must drive out Eliashib. Eliashib was a man who tried to use Tobiah's influence to expand his position. What we can see here is how big the problem is with the corruption of leaders. That is why we need to boldly throw away what we throw away in the church.
2. You have to fill in what to fill
The important thing for us is to fill ourselves with holy and beautiful things. Such a life is a holy life and a greater blessing. When we examine ourselves, we will see that we have lost much of our purity of faith. We will need to build our faith again. The most important thing is your own recovery. When we always have a heart to judge, we must first look at ourselves, and before reprimanding the church for corruption, we need to know whether or not we are corrupted. We should not criticize others and make them cross the cross, and such a life will never lead to a happy life.
We pray in the name of the Lord that we will always boldly throw away what we want to throw away, and work hard to fill in what we need to fill.
