Title: I Want a Perfect Reward
Content Title: I wish for a perfect mourning
Bible: Ruth 2:8-12
In today's text, Boaz gave a blessing to Ruth, saying, "May God give you a complete reward." We have to be a person who greatly blesses someone and receives a blessing from someone. The source of blessing is only God. We must live through the path of blessing. All of you who work hard to serve God and live according to God's will, and who are faithful and faithful, God treats you as precious and gives you complete rewards. Let's take a look at what kind of woman Ruth was, so she said that she wanted a reward before God.
First: Be humble.
“Ruth fell down and bowed her face to the ground, and said to her, “I am a foreign woman, and why have you been gracious to me and care for me?” (verse 10). Four families went to Moab, two sons married Orpah and Ruth, but Naomi's husband and two sons died in the land of Moab.
So Naomi and Ruth went back to Bethlehem after ten years. Ruth, who had a difficult life, went to Boaz's field to glean, and met Boaz and received many blessings. When she received this grace, Ruth bowed down and expressed her gratitude. Boaz was deeply moved by Ruth's humility as she bowed down to the ground.
Second: Hyosung overflowed.
"Boaz answered her and said, "It is plainly known to me all that you have done to your mother-in-law after the death of your husband, and that you have left your father and mother and your country and came to a people whom you have never known before" (verse 11). You can find the filial piety of Ruth, who adored and served with utmost sincerity. Even in a similar situation between men and women, she overcame all adverse conditions and showed filial piety that touched her heart. Therefore, it moved everyone, and Boaz was feeling the filial piety greatly. My mother-in-law, Naomi, also said, “My daughter,” rather than thinking of Ruth, a foreign woman, as a daughter-in-law.
Third: Follow God.
“May the LORD repay you for what you have done, and may the LORD, the God of Israel, give you a complete reward, under his wings, for your protection” (verse 12). You can also find a loyal faith. It was the example of the faith of her mother-in-law Naomi. I believed what I saw. In the end, Ruth was blessed and became the wife of Boaz, who later became David's great-grandmother, and became a hero of faith in the genealogy of Jesus Christ. We are all the protagonists of this blessing, and we are the people who have received the greatest blessing that cannot be compared with anyone.
