Title: I Will Always Be With You
Title: I Will Be With You Always (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
There was an 18-year-old young man in the 21st century evangelism message. But one day, while helping his father with his work at the blacksmith's shop, a red-hot hissing fell on his left hand holding a violin string, and the tips of four fingers were cut off. I can no longer hold the violin strings. His brilliant dream of becoming a violinist seemed to be in vain. He could not get out of grief for a while, but this young man who believed in God's help never gave up or gave up. He decided to play the violin with his left hand. He practiced holding the bow with his almost useless left hand and holding the string with his right hand for hours a day. Years later, he won the honor of being the best violinist at the Aiwa Seaox Count Symphony. I didn't It was the life of Frank van der Maiten, who overcame bad luck and recovered.
We hope that even when death comes, do not be afraid and trust that the Lord will always be with you.
13 We do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, so that you do not grieve like others who have no hope.
The world grieves when death comes. Because I think death is the end of eternity. So, in the future of the world, it is called a funeral ceremony. This means that at a funeral, the dead and the living are separated forever.
But we believers are not dead when we die, but are sleeping.
14If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so also those who sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
Because Jesus overcame the power of death and rose from the dead, those who believe in the resurrection will live even if they die.
Therefore, the dead in the Lord are the sleeping ones. 1 Corinthians 15:6 “Many of them are still alive, and some have fallen asleep.”
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery, that we will not all sleep, but that at the last trumpet we will all be changed in an instant. 52 When the trumpet is sounded, the dead will be raised to immortality, and we will be transformed. When the mortal is clothed with immortality, death will be swallowed up and overcome.
Therefore, the dead in the Lord are the sleeping ones. Therefore, we want you to believe that we are always with the Lord, whether we die or die.
When we die, our physical body returns to the dust, and it returns to the dust to sleep, and the spirit enters the kingdom of heaven and is with the Lord for eternity.
15 We tell you this by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
At the coming of the Lord, the dead will first wake up from their sleep and rise up in resurrected bodies to stand before the Lord, so those who are alive and remain will never precede those who sleep.
17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, so that we will always be with the Lord.
Therefore, we want you to believe that we are always with the Lord, whether we are dead or alive.
The Lord came to this earth to be with us.
Matthew 1:23 “Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and he shall call his name Immanuel, which is translated, God with us.”
And after being crucified and resurrected on the third day, He remained for 40 days and then ascended into heaven.
4 Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for what the Father has promised, which I have heard, that is, the Father will send the promised Holy Spirit.
Therefore, now is the age of the Holy Spirit. The Lord is with us through the Holy Spirit.
This Holy Spirit came on the day of Pentecost when people gathered to pray.
This is Acts 2:1-4.
Please believe that we are always with the Lord because this Holy Spirit is always on us.
And yet, worry, worry, discouragement, despair? It is because we do not believe that the Lord is with us even though the Lord is with us. As long as the Lord is with us, we have nothing to worry, worry, fear, despair.
Because our Lord is not impossible. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” Therefore, as we are always with the Lord, comfort each other with these words.
