Title: I Will Give You Rest!
The Jews lived a religious life for about 2,000 years under the law, but the Bible defines that no one can attain eternal life through the law poured out on the flesh. In addition, the fact that the Jews had to die in order to keep the law became a snare to them and made them unable to believe in the Son whom God had sent. So, if you look at the Bible, you can see that the more zealous they were in their religious life under the law, the more they did not believe in Jesus.
This is also true of Christians today. Christians, too, have been living their lives of faith and dying to observe the spiritual law given by the Holy Spirit for about 2,000 years, but the Bible defines that no one can attain eternal life through that law. Just as the Jews could not fully keep the law given to the flesh, so also the Christians cannot completely keep the spiritual law given in their hearts. Christians, like Jews, must believe in the spiritual Son sent by God to achieve eternal life.
However, today's Christians do not know this fact and are mistakenly thinking that if they go to church unconditionally, they will all be saved. At that time, the Jews also misunderstood that only going to the temple in Jerusalem would lead to salvation for all. At that time and now, only people and circumstances have changed, but God's work is proceeding in the same way. Christians today see and read these facts in the Bible, but do not realize them.
Then, why is it that man cannot attain eternal life through the law? Even without quoting the Bible, the law does not exist for the right people, but for the wrong ones. Therefore, if humans had no blemishes, God would not have given them laws to live under them. All human beings are sinners born of Adam. Because they are sinners, God placed humans under the law. If you obey the 99 laws well, and break even one thing, you will commit all kinds of sins.
Anyone can keep such a strict law without breaking it once all day long, and no matter how well he keeps one day, he does not break even once for 365 days a year, and how well can he do it for 10 or 20 years? It is about being able to live with it. Calculating with this logic, it is clear that a person with a long period of time is more likely to have broken God's law than a person with a short life of faith. If that is the case, it means that more people who have practiced faith for a long time should be identified as sinners. However, it is not that those who have been in the faith for a long time are becoming more sinners, rather they are becoming more righteous.
God, who knows this fact better than anyone else, wanted to solve all human problems, so he finally sent his Son to the people. All those who have been bound by the law so far, regardless of their rank or rank, must run in front of him and believe in him. Even a person who used to be an unbeliever, if he or she believes he has committed a sin that makes him feel remorseful, should run to his son and receive forgiveness. Only then can you escape hell.
However, the probability that a person who used to live as an unbeliever will come out after realizing their sins is much greater than that of those who have lived under God's law and come out after realizing their sins. That is why the probability of believing in a son is higher for those who practiced faith than those who did not. However, this is also what he says when he realizes his sin, and if he believes that he has been saved because he has been under the law, he is much less likely to believe in his son than an unbeliever.
In the Bible, we can see that a Roman centurion or a Syrobonic woman who was a Gentile believed in Jesus as the Son of God and entered salvation before the Israelites. Not only that, among the Jews, the Pharisees, who were proud to have kept the law the most at the time, did not believe in Jesus because of their righteousness, while their throats were vines, so they were forced to become Roman dogs and collect taxes from the Jews. Those who felt remorse in their consciences knelt at the feet of Jesus and sincerely prayed for their own wrongdoing, so by the grace of the Lord they can see that they enter the kingdom of heaven first.
Judging from this fact, God will send His Son even before Christians in the future, but it is as clear as fire that who will believe in His Son and who will reject him. Like the Pharisees, those who mistakenly believe that they are saved will not believe in the Son even if they die, and tax collectors and prostitutes, repenting of their past mistakes of breaking God's law and living according to their own will, run to the son and run to his son with tears of sincere repentance. will shed It is natural that the Lord will also warmly welcome such people.
Because the Son comes to save all human beings, even those who have been reluctant to go to church because they have not heard the gospel or because the Christian behavior is so selfish and disgusting, because it is the last time, they must believe in the Son whom God has sent. If there is a person who believes that an unbeliever is not a sinner just because he has not broken the law because he did not believe in Jesus and did not receive the Holy Spirit, then that person puts his hand on his chest and puts his hand on his chest and does not feel guilty for once. You'll have to ask yourself if you've ever done it. So, if he feels that he has had any remorse in his conscience even once, he must believe in his son to be forgiven of his sins.
Today, the Lord came to us and said, ?쏽ou who labor and are heavy laden! Come all to me! I will give you rest!??you say To put this in a more comprehensible way, you who try to keep the law to reach eternal life! No one can fully obey the law, so stop doing such useless things and come all to me! Not only will I set you free from that law that you cannot keep, but I will also remove the heavy burden (sin) that you are carrying.
In spite of the Lord's hand gestures, it is said that no hand of grace can be extended to those who do not break their stubbornness to keep a law that they cannot keep to the end, or to those who have justified themselves by keeping it. If it was like keeping it and going to heaven, why did God send His Son into the world again? Even if we think about it with common sense, God would never send His Son before humans again if it was possible that He would give them a law and lead them to salvation. The reason why God sent His Son to the Christians again is that He sent His Son to rescue all the Gentiles who have lived their lives against the law and conscience.
