Title "I will give you rest!" (June 27)

I will give you rest!

“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28) God is the God who invites those who have lost their peace. And he gives peace and joy to those who come before God.

The reason many people lose peace in the world and live is primarily because of the competitive culture. People live in a competitive culture with a sense of relative poverty, deprivation, a sense of comparison, hatred, envy, and self-righteousness. To find peace in the world, first of all, you must be a person who does not envy your friends when they are doing well. He is not hungry even if his in-law buys land. Second, he is a person to whom he can be truly grateful for a meal. People who complain about what they eat are people who do not know life and do not have the basics of life. Third, it is the person who catches the eye of the beauty of nature. Because a person who can read nature is someone who can read the emotions and minds of others.

Also, the fundamental reason for living without peace is that Jesus Christ does not exist. So, in today's text, Matthew 11:28, the Lord invites, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden." When the Lord speaks, there are especially many “I” in today’s text. It's either a megalomaniac ego complex, or someone with great confidence in himself. The Lord is the only one in life who can make absolute claims. In the Gospel of John, “I am the bread of life. I am the light of the world. i am the door I am the good shepherd I am the way, the truth, and the life. I am the true vine.” Why are you asking the Lord to come? In John 17:8, “I have given them the words you gave me…”<because he enriches us with the word. Also, in John 14:17,18 to send us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, who protects, protects, and guides us. Philip Keller, agronomist and shepherd, said that two ways to keep sheep at rest are to be full and feel safe. The Lord enriches and keeps you safe. Come to the Lord!
