Title: I Will Heal You (Jeremiah 30:17)
Contents
Lately, I am suddenly healing here and there, and this person and that person are talking about healing. We are now encountering the word 'healing' like a flood among advertisements and articles in various Alone media that are popping up every day. This is the icon of the times and the fashion of the times. Healing is the trend of Sam. If you think about it simply, it is one word, but the craze is great. In fact, the term “healing” was a term used by a few experts a few years ago, but now it is not so lowly to everyone. Broadcasters even say that in order to attract and fix viewers' attention, you have to attach a Hillil, and if you want to become a presidential candidate, you have to go to a program called 'Healing Camp'. Advertising is also a color of healing. The wind of well-being has passed and now, in a word, a 'healing craze' is blowing. If we turn this over soon, I think that the reality we are living in right now is a story that is very difficult, difficult, hurting and ill.
Here we need to clearly define the word Healing. Healing is a term that means “healing of the body or mind” in Korean, that is, “holistic healing”. Therefore, healing is good no matter what anyone says. Of course you need to heal. Who would refuse to heal? Modern people are living in a world where they are hurt without realizing it, from close people and from various circumstances of the world. Maybe every day, every moment you breathe, you live with a wound and a friend. It hurts and gets hurt. Modern people have many barriers. Isn't that also a living space? If it's open, I'm anxious. Rather, it is safe to have it closed tightly. So the wounds deepen into mental pain, and they sometimes lead to physical illness. It becomes clogged here and there, causing pain, disease, and swelling.
Compared to the old people, modern people have more money and their personal and social status have also increased. However, no matter how much money they have, their social status is good, and they live with many things, there is no peace in their hearts. So you can never be happy. In the end, the important issue is how much the wounds and pains of the heart are healed. So, the problem of healing came to the fore.
But the problem is that so many people don't know about healing well.
I felt the need to define it biblically, theologically, and evangelically by faith.
Many people know that drinking good water from the Ongdal spring deep in the mountains and spending time in the fresh air is healing. I know that choosing good food can be healing. I know that simply relieving stress is healing. So I think about money. I think you need money to do these things. If you have money, you can do it, and because it is, that is, because it is money, you invest in a healing business.
However, there are some people who become like ferocious wolves even if they drink water from the Ongdal spring deep in the mountains and breathe good air. No matter how much they go to karaoke to relieve stress, even if they drink and debauchery, even if they exercise all day, the roots will not be resolved. . Is it really healing to spend a lot of money to receive various services? It is also the same. It is said that the healing effect is only temporary. You may be able to enjoy a short break, but it is only a superficial healing, not a healing that heals to the root. It's just a brief moment of healing, but even after a day, your shoulders feel heavy and tired again. How long will such temporary healing last? It is only a shell of healing. That is why there must be healing that heals the root, not just the shell.
It means that true healing can only happen when you gain freedom from the clogged walls and bitter roots that are inherent in you. After all, healing that heals the soul is true healing and sustainable healing. In the end, true healing can only be achieved when the soul goes beyond the level of healing to the root, healing that continues every day, and healing, and eventually the soul goes to the level of peaceful peace.
How can we do that? How should I approach and heal healing?
In the end, we must return to God. We must truly return to God. God is the healer. This is Jehovah Rapha. He means healer. In today's text, he said, "I will heal you by making new flesh sprout from your wounds." I believe that it is God who makes new flesh grow and heals deep pits due to physical and spiritual wounds. Healing does not require money, leisure, and time, but it can be said that it begins with a strong determination toward the Lord.
Not only physical or mental problems, but also spiritual healing must be done in order to enter the world of true healing, the world of peaceful happiness in the soul. No meditation technique, no healing technique can make the root of the wound disappear. We believe that God's hand is present in our hearts and souls, and His touch makes us feel new and heals us.
God is the Lord who binds up, makes holy, and heals. He said that He also healed the water source (2 Kings 2:21), Naaman's leprosy (2 Kings 5:), Hezekiah's prayer, and the people (2 Chronicles 30:20). In the Gospels, it is said that God the Son healed the hearts of Nathanael and Zacchaeus, the lame, the man possessed by a fierce demon, and healed all the sick. God heals the heavens, the earth, the waters, the people, the people, and the nation as well.
In order for a person to live a comfortable and dignified life without being swayed by various circumstances, in the end, he must hold on to Almighty God. Everything in the world shakes. There is nothing that is not shaken. It is dizzying to depend on it and live by it. It can only vibrate and stumble. In the end, living depending on such things will only deepen the wounds.
Only the Lord is eternal. We must return to the Word. We must return to the gospel. We must go back to church. It has to come back to faith.
Saints! What were the fundamental factors that prevented us from prospering while living in this world?
What was the root cause of our wounds and ailments? First, it was because I had trouble with the Lord. It was because they neglected him, did not believe his words, and did not follow him to the end. That was the problem of disbelief and disobedience. What did Jesus say as He healed the sick? “Your faith is great, and it will be done as you wish” (Matthew 15:28). “Be cleansed, I want.” He gave the blessing of fulfilling the wishes of faith of the sick.
