◎ Introduction
: If a person keeps (obeys) God's ordinances and commandments, he will receive great promises.
※ Promises have conditions. Therefore, when dealing with promises, remember that promises are conditional. (3)
※ Promises (1~3) are ①Do not worship idols.(1)
② You must keep the Sabbath (Sunday). (2)
③ You must honor the sanctuary. (2)
④ Observe the ordinances and commandments. (3)
※ The 7 promises of God to those who obey are in the text (3~13).
1. Blessing of Abundance (4~5)
※ There is the blessing of abundance and the blessing of possessing abundantly. (4-5)
※ If a person obeys God, God has promised rain and abundance of grain and fruit.
* God will keep you safe from predators.
① He will keep the land from being damaged by war.
② God promised the people safety from thieves and from war.
“Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33).
“Serve the LORD your God, and the LORD will bless your rest and water, and will heal sickness among you.

2. Blessings of Peace and Safety (6)
※ As a blessing for peace and safety ① Regarding lawless attacks that occur at night
② Because it refers to the attacks of savage animals.
※ Thieves and looters are usually lawless people who attack at night.
※ Dangerous and savage animals are snakes, scorpions, lions, and bears.
※ There were also promises of war with hostile people.
※ Those who obey God will always have the blessing of peace and security, even while sleeping at night.

3. Blessing of Victory (7~8)
※ “I will drive out your enemies” There was a promise that I would pursue (rout) the enemies who were against the people of God, whether it be nations, mobs or individuals.(7)
※ “They will fall by the sword before you.” Those who believe will wield the sword, and the enemy will fall before them.

※ “Five of you will chase a hundred... One hundred and ten thousand” It takes courage for the obedient to defeat the enemy.
His courage is so great that five men will chase a hundred men, and a hundred men will chase ten thousand men.
Victory over all enemies is guaranteed to the obedient.
