I will never forget you! (Isa 49:14-21)
Israel is complaining. Heaven and earth rejoice, but Zion, the chosen one, is rather lamenting, “The Lord has forsaken us!” Those who have received God's grace are living with the feeling of being abandoned. He doesn't know me and me! (Isa 40:27) Are you not seeing my troubles and my situation and just passing by? Jehovah God answers these questions: “I will never forget you.” I forgot! I'm really sorry! I won't forget it now! does that mean? no. Jehovah God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He did not forget us, and he does not forget us (v. 16). So we can expect.
Things that used to work in vain will go away.
In verse 17, “those who have demolished you and made you desolate” are those who made you toil in vain. Those are things that were wasted. You will get rid of everything that wastes time, passion and money. will take you far away from me. It is the Father's will to eat the bread of toilet. He will let you live without worrying and terrifying. Therefore, proclaim with confidence. Command forcefully upon the powers that cause disease, towards weakness, doubt, fear, etc. “Get away from me.”
People will flock to me. (verse 18)
People come in droves from all sides. It's not meant to attack me. This is to help. I walk quickly to gather strength (verse 17) because I have a mission. You make them adorn me (verse 18). You make me no less, no less, no more honorable and better. He made the land of Zion have many inhabitants so that the land seemed to be narrow, and then he enlarged the land as well. That is my father's dream. “From sunrise to sunset, Your name will be praised...” That should be our dream.
You make a great confession.
Verse 21 says, “Who has begotten and brought up children for me?” I was a person who lost a child and lived a lonely life. Who has been kind to me? This is not a question of despair, but a question of one who knows the answer. Who is for me and who is working for me? He is Yahweh. Yahweh makes confession. The great confession, the confession that we all want to hear from our mouths, Jehovah makes it happen.’
Can you hear this? “I will never forget you!” It's a sound you can hear if you stop what you're doing and listen for a moment. I will never forget your wishes, your prayers, and your devotion and service! Definitely...
