Title: I Will Raise a Prophet Like Me!

Peter continues, but Jesus, whom you killed, is just as Moses had prophesied: “The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers, and you will listen to everything he says. Whoever does not listen to the word of God will be destroyed from among the people, and all the prophets who said they would come from the days of Samuel also spoke of this time.” welcomed

We have a lot to realize as we look at this event. The first is the humility of Peter and John. He appeals to the audience that they are not in a position to be praised at all, even though they are likely to receive applause because they have raised a cripple, and they are saying that all these things come from the power of Jesus Christ. This is indeed a priestly act.

We see here once again that Jesus was the absolute savior of the people of Israel, as Moses foretold. However, it is their decisive mistake that they only valued the law, the legal body of the flesh, and did not want to believe in Jesus, who came as the Son of God. Obviously, the prophets have consistently prophesied, but it is their decisive blemish that they have changed their conception of the Messiah to a human level. We Gentiles must realize how terrible it is to know God through the human mind.

Let's recall the word of the Lord once again! “And whoever speaks against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven in this world or in the world to come” (Matthew 12:32). A prophet is raised, and you will all have to listen to him at that time.' If you were referring to this Jesus, you would know that if the Lord also speaks against the one who comes as the Holy Spirit toward the Gentiles, he will never be forgiven. are speaking

It is similar to the Israelites rejecting Jesus because they only valued the law, and the Gentiles calling on Jesus only by name and disobeying the one who comes as the Holy Spirit.

Yet, there is still hope for the Gentiles. This is because the one who comes as the Holy Spirit has not yet started the work in earnest. However, if the Lord's command is given, the ministry will surely begin sooner or later. At that time, those who hear and follow the voice of the Lord will be heard as wheat, and those who are hardened and do not hear the voice of the Lord will be heard as chaff and will be thrown into the fire. What the end-time chaff will be like is detailed in the Bible, so let's not talk about it any further!

Now, Gentiles know that believing in Jesus and receiving the Holy Spirit is directly connected to salvation. However, this is a misunderstanding brought about by interpreting the Bible with human thoughts. The Israelites also knew that they would surely be saved because they kept the law. Just as Jesus was the absolute savior for the people of Israel, for the Gentiles of the present, they must follow the Holy Spirit to achieve complete salvation. If you do not live according to the Holy Spirit, you will not be able to repent because you have no realization of the sin that is in you. Who among the Gentiles does not have ‘hate or anger’ within them? This is proof that he did not live according to the Holy Spirit. If he says he is going to heaven even though this sin is still clearly visible in him, he is a person who knows nothing about heaven. Because sin cannot coexist in heaven.

Among the Gentiles, those who have not lived according to the Holy Spirit and still have hatred, anger, envy, jealousy, and lies within themselves, it would be much better to confess that they did not live by the Holy Spirit honestly and kneel before the one who comes as the Holy Spirit and ask for their life.

Those who claimed to have kept the law when Jesus came to the land of Israel did not kneel before Jesus and went to eternal destruction. Even the Gentiles, those who consider themselves righteous, will not kneel before him who comes as the Holy Spirit, even though they are full of greed and covetousness within themselves. However, those who do not live according to the Holy Spirit and know that they are full of evil will be sure to kneel and ask for help when the last voice of the Holy Spirit is heard, and the Holy Spirit who sees it will have mercy on him in the name of the Lord.

In the book of Revelation, the Lord has a special message to the seven churches, saying that He will give life only to those who overcome the battle with Himself. At the same time, the common message of each church is, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

We know that he who comes in the Holy Spirit will come without anyone knowing. It was prophesied that Jesus would come when He came, but we need to remember that even the people who lived with us in a village did not know that. Only those who have heard and obeyed the voice of the Holy Spirit will know and follow Him who comes through the Holy Spirit. As Paul said, 'Where sin increases, grace abounds.' Now is the time for everyone to look inside themselves and humble themselves before the one who comes as the Holy Spirit and earnestly hope to receive mercy.
