Title (II) I will take people (Luke 5:1~11)
Contents
① “... From now on, just as you said you will take people from now on, the saints transcend the world, wealth, glory, food, clothing, and shelter, and live in obedience to the Lord’s word, sanctifying the body, building the temple of the body, and earning the character of a true man. The life of taking people is the position, the main job, and the fulfillment of the Lord's purpose for us.
“Go out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”
① The deep place that Jesus told them to catch is a place where they caught fish all night but couldn’t catch a single fish ② Also, in the morning at this time, the fish come out to the shallow place to find food, so there are no fish ③ “Time” It is a situation in which it is impossible to catch fish as a result of “experience”, and since the nets have already been washed, lowering the nets again is a loss in effort and is against the principle of principle. ④ But Peter denied everything before and obeyed, saying, “...by the word, I will let down the nets.” ⑤ In this way, faith is obedience to words that go against “reasons”, “rationalities”, “natural ways”, “means of experience,” “historical statistics,” and “human reason.” income is made
“Then there were so many fish that the nets were torn.”
① The Lord's commands, words, and obedience are the only way to receive all the blessings of God. ② Therefore, when the Lord commands us to do this, it is like giving seed to a farmer, giving life to the dead, and giving the seed of happiness to the unfortunate. ③ The command that Peter received contained wealth, and contained the power of human change to set Peter in the position of a true man and a man of true faith and lead him to live a life that embraces men, and the grace that allowed Peter to be captured by the Lord and become a complete missionary. . ④ Jesus’ command to “pick up your bed and walk” had the power to heal a 38-year-old sick man (John 5:1-9) ⑤ “Show your body to the priests” (Matthew 8:4) command to cure leprosy ⑥ “Lazarus, come out” (John 11:43) contained the power and life to raise Lazarus from the dead.
“When it was double filled, it became submerged”
① In this way, those who obey the word of the Lord become the source of blessings that they receive many blessings first and that others also receive blessings because of them. ② All the grace, blessings, and great gifts contained in the Lord's commands can be received through obedience. ③ The Lord does not give commands that we cannot obey, but the commands He gives contain the ability to obey. ④ The Lord takes what is to be reaped from the obedient, gives life to what should be saved, rescues what is to be rescued, kills what should be killed, throws it away, takes it, and heals what needs to be healed. ⑤ If you obey every command that is difficult to obey, you will receive greater grace and blessings. ⑥ Therefore, the word of the Lord's command is a treasure among treasures.
“Leave me, Lord, for I am a sinner.”
① This is the evidence that Peter discovered Jesus, who is God, and discovered what a heinous sinner he was. ② When the saints do well in all things, succeed, and prosper, they discover the Lord and themselves anew, and are the greatest among sinners. We must be humble and bow down to the Lord. ③ When a lot of fish are caught, the time when the rich succeed and win is the most dangerous time. ④ It is because it is the time when the devil rushes to steal success and wealth. ⑤ It is also a time when it is easy to become greedy, a time when it is easy to fall into material things and the world because of the desire to become more wealthy. ⑦ In times like these, the saints, like Peter, do not have such greed, thoughts, and claws, but must discover their sins and become humble and repent before the Lord.
“From now on, you will take people.”
① These are the words that Peter received the mission because he was completely taken hold of by the Lord. ② Because Peter was caught by the Lord first, he caught a lot of fish, and he changed himself and became a missionary to save others. ③ Being caught by the Lord is the greatest blessing.
