Title: I Wish I Was Raised
Contents
Those who have been raised with Christ are children of the resurrection and children of God. This is because the old man, who was already born of the flesh, united with the flesh of Christ, the Son of Man, the blood of David, and crucified his passions and desires along with that flesh.
“Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God” (Colossians 3:1).
Therefore, you are now a child of God who has been reborn as a new creature who has been raised with Christ. God is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living.
“Jesus said to them, “The children of this world marry and are given in marriage, but those who are counted worthy to be found in the other world and to the resurrection from the dead do not marry, nor are they given in marriage, and they cannot die again. equal to, and children of the resurrection, children of God. That the resurrection of the dead was mentioned in the writings of the thorn bush, which Moses also called the Lord, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. God is the God of the dead. No, he is the God of the living, to whom all men live...” (Luke 20:34-38).
That is why the Bible says, "... Awake, you who sleep, and rise from the dead, for Christ will give you light" (Ephesians 5:14), and also, "... now Christ has risen from the dead, the firstfruits of those who sleep." He has become” (1 Corinthians 15:20).
Eternal worship in our Lord Jesus our Lord, the author and perfecter of our faith, to our God and Father who raised us from the dead to sin together with Christ and awakens us from the physical body to a spiritual body.
He raised Jacob from slavery in Egypt and awoke Zion again from the slumber of the Babylonian captivity, "so that from that time on, he may live the rest of the flesh, not according to the lusts of men, but according to the will of God" (1 Peter 4:2). ) His power, authority, and glory to fulfill His word is eternal.
The work of raising us from the dead in our sins has been fulfilled
Awakening is now being accomplished according to the Holy Spirit. Therefore, "Jesus said to them, My Father works until now, and I work..." (John 5:17).
The prophecy written about this also said, “Awake, awake, O Zion, put on your strength, O holy city Jerusalem, put on your beautiful garments; Forsaken, Jerusalem, rise up and sit on your throne, O captive daughter Zion, untie your necks” (Isaiah 52:1-2).
Therefore, the Bible says about this, "Therefore, let us not lay aside the basics of the Christian way, repent of dead works, and lay the groundwork for the doctrine concerning faith in God, baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment, but let us go forward to perfection. We will do this if the Lord will allow us” (Hebrews 6:1-3).
And as it is testified, "...the Lord delivered the people out of Egypt, and later destroyed the unbelievers" (Jude 1:5). The gospel does not end with the forgiveness of “ten thousand talents”, which you can’t repay. “Shouldn’t you also have pity on your brother-in-law, just as I have compassion on you?” (Matthew 18:33). . This is not the end of planting seeds, but of bearing fruit.
This is because salvation is “to be conformed to the image of the Son.” Without “the image of his Son,” he is not a true Son. Neither the natural son nor the spiritual son can inherit with the son. As it is written, “But what does the scriptures say? Cast out the slave girl and her son, for it is said that the slave’s son shall not inherit with the son of a free woman” (Galatians 4:30).
Not everyone who has a son is a true son. You must become an inherited son to be a true son. As it is written, “…you are my son, and today I have begotten you, and again I will be a father to him, and he will be a son to me…” (Hebrews 1:5). A true child.
It is as it is written, “If children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, for we must suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him” (Romans 8:17).
The suffering that God's true children are experiencing right now is to awaken the dawn from a physical body to a spiritual body. As it is written, “Awake, harp, harp, harp, my glory, I will awaken the dawn” (Psalm 57:8).
Therefore, he exhorts those who obey the gospel, "Therefore, beloved, let us, who have this promise, cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God" (2 Corinthians 7:1).
“For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are of one; therefore he is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying, “I will declare your name to my brethren, and I will sing praises to you in the midst of the church.” ’ (Hebrews 2:11-12).
The children of the resurrection who wake up the dawn always have these words alive in them. “Beloved, now that we are children of God, what we will become has not yet been revealed; Because of what he sees as he is, whoever has this hope in the Lord purifies himself even as he is pure” (1 John 3:2-3). Amen, Lord, thank you.
He who does not know the dawn is dead.
In the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, from faith to faith...
