Let's talk a little bit about the "Ideal Leader Award" this morning. The Lamb needs a good shepherd, and the good people need an ideal leader. In the state where numerous leaders have appeared in human history and have led the general public, many ideal leaders have been appointed, but there were also some who were not.
On this matter, Jesus Christ mentioned in John 10:1-18, "There are good shepherds who lay down their lives for the sheep, but there are also leaders like wage earners who pretend to be for the sheep and satisfy their own self-interest. You said that there are leaders like thieves and robbers. In this way, for the lambs, when they meet a good shepherd, they can enjoy peace and security in green pastures and calm streams, and the common people will enjoy true prosperity and happiness only when they meet a good and kind leader. Here in Joshua 1, Moses, the great leader of Israel At the age of 120, Bisga dies at the Hut and his successor, General Joshua, is appointed as an important historical scene. This time, we are going to take a moment to think about the "ideal map" with the center of Israel's second leader, General Joshua.
一. First, it is said that he is a leader who can listen to the voices of history.

Joshua 1:6-"Strengthen your heart. Be courageous. This people will possess the land that I swore to their fathers." Here, "Strengthen your heart.
three. Third, it is said that he is a leader who can hear the voice of God.
Jos 1:8 - “Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth, but meditate on it day and night, and observe all that is written in it, so that you may make your way smooth, and you may prosper.” Any ideal leader should listen to the voice of history and the voice of conscience, but more importantly, listen to the voice of God. The reason is that it is not free to listen to or not to hear the word of God. Deuteronomy 28:1 - "If you listen to the word of God and obey it, you will be blessed when you go out and blessed when you go in." Deuteronomy 28:15 - "If you disobey the word of God, you will be cursed even if you go out and cursed if you go in." A leader who listens to God's Word and obeys it does not live as he pleases, nor does he act according to his own will.
Conclusion: In this way, the ideal leader (1) seeks the public interest before pursuing his own self-interest, (2) seeks the happiness of the people before pursuing his or her status or rights, and (3) seeks his own wealth and wealth. Prior to pursuing glory, we will seek the glory of the people and the glory of God. Currently, our country and church need and demand such an ideal leader.
