Title: If You Pray, Get Answers
1 John 3:21-22'21. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God 22. And whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do those things that are pleasing in his sight' - Amen.
If we could describe the miracles we received through faith in Jesus in three ways, 1) we gained eternal life by believing in Jesus 2) we received the Bible and understood everything 3) we can pray and receive answers. Among them, prayer is the path of a blessed life that anyone can do without time and space limitations. The important thing is to <receive an answer if you pray>.
1. Repentance of sins comes first
You cannot come to God without repenting of your sins.
Mark 1:15 “…Repent and believe in the gospel”
Text, 1 John 3:21 “If our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God”
Isaiah 59:1-2 ‘1. It is not that the LORD's hand is short, that it cannot save, nor his ear dull that it cannot hear.
2. Living according to your will
If you say you pray, but your prayer subject is secular, and your way of living is not biblical, there will be no answer. You must live a biblical life and pray in order to be answered.
Text, 1 John 3:22 “Whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.”
Proverbs 28:9 “If a man turns his ear away from hearing the law, his prayer is also detestable.”
Matthew 4:3-11 - The temptation of the devil Jesus suffered; Turning stones into bread-economics, jumping into the temple-mysteries, glory of the world-gloryism of the world- It is misunderstood that you answered the worldly things as you asked. However, there are many things that the devil worked on.
The answer is to live first according to God's good will with what we have.
3. There are two answers, wisdom and power
1) Wisdom is the answer to coping with enlightenment
When you pray, your spiritual brain opens first. Eyes are also open. You will understand the will of God. He lets you know what you know according to your personal circumstances.
James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.”
2) Ability is a miracle, grace that solves problems
God is all-powerful and there is nothing he cannot do. The God who made the seas cross like land, the God of miracles who raised the dead and fed 5,000 people with 5 bottles and 2 fish. Believing this is not a fanaticism, but a very normal biblical belief.
Mark 9:23 "Jesus said to him, "If it is possible, what do you mean? Nothing is impossible for him who believes."
Isaiah 55:8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are my ways, saith the LORD.”
The most important thing about prayer is to pray and wonder about answers. James 4:2 says, “You do not have, because you do not ask.” They often say that there is no grace that there is no answer without praying. You may receive eternal life by believing in Jesus and reading the Bible, but success in life and miracles do not occur. Those who pray have a testimony. I wish you victory through prayer.
