Title: Illusion is Freedom, But Responsibility...
Bible: Luke 12:16-21
Starting Point of the Word>>
The sermon we will share at this time is entitled “Freedom of illusion, but responsibility…”. Everyone lives in various delusions to varying degrees.
If you go to Jeju Island, there is a place called Dokkaebi Road.
In reality, it is a place where the slope is low, but it looks like an uphill road. Due to this optical illusion, when the car is turned off, it feels as if it is going downhill even though it is a slope.
Example>
At a medical school hospital, there were two students who said they were the best.
Two students were walking down the hallway when I saw a man walking with a very painful expression on his back and stumbling.
One student said.
“Obviously rheumatoid arthritis.”
Then another student shook his head flutteringly and said, “Oh my God, that must be a disc.”
We were crying with each other, and the man approached me and asked with difficulty.
“Where is the bathroom?”
This man was none other than a toilet seeker.
I don't know how many people live with this illusion of reality.
Even in the Bible today, there is a farmer who makes many plans after harvesting a lot of grain.
“Let’s tear down the granary and build it again. And let it be piled up and rest in peace, eat, drink, and enjoy.”
Then God speaks.
“You fool, this night your soul will be retrieved, and whose will your preparations be?”
You did.
So many people live in illusions, like foolish farmers.
I hope this time will be a time for all of our members to look to the Lord, not an illusion or a fantasy.

If so, what is the specific misunderstanding of the farmer who appears in the text of Orium?
First, it is only me who needs to live.
If we look at the words of verse 21,
“Laying up treasure for himself,” he said.
This farmer has an extremely selfish outlook on life for himself.
Now this farmer has no thoughts of God or of his neighbor.
The world we live in is not alone.
When God created human beings, he created them to lead a social life.
Francis Bacon says:
“There are three main types of people in this world. The first is the one who should not exist, the second is the one who has one, and the third is the one who must be.”
It is sometimes divided into a life like a spider, a life like an ant, and a life like a bee. It is also called a minus life, an equal life, or a plus life.
A selfish person is a minus life like a spider.
Because all crimes stem from selfishness.
It is an evil idea that only I have to live while doing things that harm others.
In a selfish life, love for God and love for neighbor do not exist.
There is no God's grace, no faith, no blessings, no heavenly rewards, no friends. These delusions are ultimately self-defeating thoughts.
Second, there is a misconception that all you need is money.
If we look at verse 18,
“I will do this: I will tear down my barn and build it larger, and I will store all my grain and all my goods there.”
This is a very materialistic view of life.
People need money to live.
However, the idea that money is the most important thing and that if you have money you can do anything is a very dangerous idea. Money should not be the purpose of life.
Karl Marx was a scholar who advocated materialism.
As a materialist, he saw the value of matter as the highest.
But it was an illusion.
From there came communism, which destroyed humanity.
It was this materialist communism that caused the most suffering, the worst, and the most souls to hell on earth.
When I held onto the material things, the material departed and God also departed.
King Solomon was one of the richest men in the Bible.
But, in Ecclesiastes, he said, “Vanity and vanity, vanity, vanity, all things are vanity.” “Now that we have heard the end of things, fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of man” (Ecclesiastes 12:13).
Nevertheless, people live their lives for material things.
For them, money is the purpose of life, and money is God.
However, it is foolish to collect materials that do not know how to put them to good use.
So Paul said in 1 Timothy 6:10,
“The love of money is the root of all evil, and those who long for it have been deceived and have erred from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.
I did.
That's why the Lord said, "Beware of all covetousness, for a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."
We should not become slaves of material things, but we should become saints who know how to use the material gifts that God has given us.
Third, it is an illusion that only the body needs to be happy.
This is verse 19 of the text.
“And I will say to my soul, Soul, many goods are laid up for many years; rest, eat, drink, and be merry.”
In other words, this is a hedonistic view of life.
His view of materiality was nothing more than a tool of pleasure for enjoyment.
He also put the happiness of life into eating, drinking and enjoying.
If we do what our faith is good for our bodies, we will get a spiritual disease.
Let's sleep a little more, lie down a little more If you go out with the caution that let's be more comfortable, that faith will die.
You do not know how important it is to give your body in your life of faith.
Prayer seems to be done with the soul, but we cannot offer it without giving our body.
From experience, if you lean or lie down, your prayers will die as much.
You have to give your body as much as possible to win.
You have to give your body to go to church, offer your body to sing songs, give your body to read the Bible, and give your body to evangelize and serve.
Finally, there is another religious misconception.
According to Proverbs 14:12,
“There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it is the way of death.”
In 1998, a monk in Myanmar died.
The funeral began in the presence of hundreds of middlemen, Buddhist monks and relatives.
But just before the body was cremated, the body came to life, abruptly got up and began to cry.
“We have all been deceived. I have seen our ancestors suffer and burn in flames of unknown kind. I also saw the Buddha and other high monks. All of them were in a sea of fire.”
“We have to listen to Christians,” he said. They are the only ones who know the truth.”
This incident shocked the entire region.
Three hundred monks who witnessed this event converted to Christianity and began to study the Bible.
The resurrected monk continued to preach a voice of warning to all people to believe in Jesus.
He died and saw the truth.
People say that there are many religions in the world and there is truth.
But don't get me wrong.
The only object of our faith is God.
At the end of the speech>>
Organize your words.
People today are running towards destruction in myriad illusions.
Please do not be mistaken for a foolish rich man without God.
A selfish life, a material life, and a hedonistic life are not all.
In life, there is always death and judgment in the afterlife.
Therefore, I pray in the name of the Lord that all of us will become saints who have God as the Lord of our lives, believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior, receive the filling of the Holy Spirit, and live according to God's will.
