Matthew 1:21-23, 28:20 Immanuel 1 Immanuel 2
The Gospel of Matthew is as important as the neck when speaking of a human body. A person's neck is a complex passageway through which blood vessels, nerves, and qi that connect the head and trunk pass. If you cut off a person's head, they die. The Gospel of Matthew and Chapter 1 are as important as the neck of the Bible, connecting the Old and New Testaments.
1. The blessing of Genesis is Immanuel.
When the Israelites give birth to a son, they want God to be with our son (Immanuel), so they put the names of ‘Jehovah, God’, ‘El’ and ‘Jah,’ before and after the name of their son. Elijah, Elisha, Israel, Samuel, Daniel, Uriah, Uzziah, Hezekiah, Josiah, Jeremiah... El is Elohim, and Jah is Yahweh. It was named after God, Jehovah. The women's names do not include El or Ya, but give meaning to nature, flowers, and beautiful nature. Sarah (Princess), Hannah (Mercy), Esther (Star)..., Maria (Miriam) are the exalted ones. Martha (lady), Susanna (lily), Phoebe (chastity)... God created the heavens and the earth and placed people who were created in God's image in the Garden of Eden to live with them. ‘Immanuel’ means ‘God with us’. Being with God itself is holiness, life, and happiness. Conversely, not being with God is sin, misfortune, and death.
Like Enoch, those who please God are those who always walk together with God. The reason why dogs are loved by their owners is that they do not leave their owners and try to follow them to the point of annoyance. Are we not inferior to puppies before God? Even when small things happen, they do not want to come before God's presence. If you do not want to appear in the place of worship, prayer, or the Word, you will lose the blessing of Immanuel.
2. The curse in Genesis is Immanu Satan.
The judgment of the flood is in Genesis 6:3, saith the LORD, My spirit shall not dwell with men forever, for they are made flesh. As Immanuel became Immanusatan, he entered human history with thorns, thistles, sweat, pain, sin, death, punishment, judgment, and hell. Fallen people are the servants of Satan, the servants of the devil, and they are living in darkness, oppressed by the domination of demons. John 10:10 'The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly.' and torment people with evil deeds and curses. And in the end, you will die and go to hell together to torment them.
3. Jesus is Emmanuel.
Jesus is Emmanuel Himself. Heavenly Father was with Jesus and rejoiced in him. He gave the Holy Spirit and the angels to be with him. The meaning of the name of Jesus is 'the one who will save his people from their sins' (Matthew 1:21) When sinners believe in Jesus and receive salvation from their sins in the name of Jesus, the holy God becomes our Father and You and the Holy Spirit will be with us forever. When there is no sin, a holy God is with us.
1) Those who believe in Jesus and are saved from sin receive the blessing of Immanuel 1.
God is pleased to save people of faith through the incident of a virgin giving birth to a son, which is nonsense toward the world of unbelief. Immanuel is God's test method for human reason and common sense, science and logic. Jesus who gave birth to a son by a virgin, Jesus who died on the cross and was resurrected, and Jesus who ascended to heaven and will come again... are mysteries that cannot be explained by human reason, logic, and archaeology. The blessing of Immanuel 1 is that by being saved from sin, we are freed from the shame, fear, curse, death, and judgment of sin.
2) The blessing of Immanuel 2 is given to those who do the work of saving others from their sins. Matthew 28:18 is the grace of God with us until the end of the world when we become witnesses of Jesus and obey the apostolic mission to go to all nations and be saved from sin in the name of Jesus. The Lord, who has all authority in heaven and on earth, promised to always be with us until the end of the world when we make disciples who believe in Jesus and receive the forgiveness of sins. Matthew 29 continues to be recorded through the disciples of Jesus who received the blessings of Immanuel 1 and 2 even now.
