in Christ
(2 Corinthians 5:14-19)
(…) The foundation of Christian doctrine is creationism. It starts with the precious teaching that God created the heavens and the earth. This teaching rejects all atheism, nihilism, materialism, naturalism, etc. (…) A person's worth is determined by what he puts in him. Even a rich, handsome, and well-educated person becomes a bad person if they have evil thoughts, and if they have no money and little study, they become good people if they have good thoughts. Life is still an earthen vessel, but if we include Jesus Christ who becomes our way, truth, and life, human beings become the way, the truth, and the life. (…) Having a lot of money is precious, and having a lot of honor is precious. . However, more important than possession is a matter of right thinking, that is, of values.(…) Humans are created in the image and likeness of God. True man has the breath of God. When we believe these words, we become treasured vessels.(…)
In today's text, Paul wrote his testimony in a letter to the church members living in Corinth. “If you are in Christ, you are a new creation.” The person who ran as if to kill everyone who believed in Jesus changed 180 degrees overnight. This is not Paul's decision. I can't help but think that God the Creator created him again in an instant.(…)
Anyone can be different in Christ. We must never forget that we are all sinners because we are in Adam. As sinners, our anger, lies, and bad deeds are not caused by deliberate effort. It is because Adam's character, delinquency, and life have flowed into us. The way we become new people is not in God making us good people. It is because God rescues us from Adam and puts us in Christ (…) The Bible teaches that the moment we are in Adam we are sinners, and the moment we are in Christ we are righteous.
As Paul said, we have a heart for evil and a heart for righteousness, and we fight in our hearts. To overcome evil, you must be in Christ (…) “In Christ” is the determination to live with the Lord from now on. Before I believed in Jesus, I lived my own life in Adam. I was baptized. It is a promise to live in Jesus. Living in Christ is not an easy life. Only those who take up their cross and follow Jesus are in Christ. This is the meaning of baptism and the Christian life.
Virgins take good care of their parents before marriage, but after they get married, they go to their parents' house and try to bring something more. Naturally. This is normal. A married daughter must change like that. Your mind, your consciousness, and your life must change. We are the bride of Christ married to Christ. A bride is a person who lives in Christ. Amen.
