Title: In God (1 Samuel 30:1-10)
Contents In Chapter 29, we saw that David dramatically rescued him from the trouble he fell through because of his disobedience and unbelief. God loves his chosen one and delivers him from trouble.
David was able to overcome the great tribulation through God's protection and guidance.
God kept it from leaving a blemish before David, the future king of Israel.
God protects the one He loves, but He pays the price for his sin and unbelief.
1. Amalek's aggression - The tribulation that David suffered while he fell into his own schemes and went to war against Israel.
The city was burned, and his children and wives were taken captive.
I cried so much that I couldn't even cry.
2) The crisis that befell David. He stoned David-The crowd who followed and worked so hard for him tried to kill him.
He is paying the price for his disobedience and sin.
2. David gained strength He was in crisis. it was military
In particular, he looked to God in the rebellion of his followers.
I looked to God.
God is the source of strength.
In times of crisis, we must look to God.
A time of despair
Today we are in an era of material crisis, children's crisis, family crisis, and total crisis.
Please look to God.
3. Bring the praying David ephod and pray to God. There are Urim and Thumbim in the prayer ephod. Through this, we pray to God and seek God's will.
It responds as a way of deciding whether or not to decide on any problem.
He did not respond to Saul's false ephod, but to David.
Verse 8-
4. David in action David led 600 men and followed God's answer right away.
David was tired but acted as soon as he received God's answer.
A believer who looks to God in times of crisis.
A believer who prays and acts according to God's answers.
