Title: In the name of Jesus
Contents :
The text begins with the Pentecost event as the starting point for the birth of the church in Jerusalem, and the age of the church opens wide.
Peter and John go up at the promised time (9 o'clock = 3 pm) to preach the gospel and pray in the temple, and meet a man who has been crippled since birth in the temple called Mimun every day to beg.
Today, I want to receive grace from two directions in the text.
The first is the changed appearance of an abandoned person
Second, true change is possible only in the name of Jesus.
The changed look of an abandoned man
It is more surprising and desirable than the world of science that a person's life can be changed and changed beautifully.
It is the amazing grace of God when a life that has lived an evil life, an ugly life, and a shadowy life turns into a good life, a useless life turns into a noble life, and a person who was a burden to others rises up and becomes a worker in a family, society and church
This person in today's text was first changed physically.
A person who could not even walk has been transformed into a person who walks and runs.
A person who used to beg and eat was changed into a person who praised God.
A person's change was changed through prayer.
Verse 1 At the 9 o'clock prayer time (9 o'clock is 3 pm)
Prayer allows us to experience the power to change people.
The fasting prayers of Esther and Mordecai changed the heart of King Ahasuerus.
The prayers of the saints always call for the divine work of God.
Prayer manifests itself in its power to change not only me, but also others.
Can I testify that I believe in Jesus and what has changed?
Through change, the cross is communicated to the saints and they testify of Jesus.
Second, the true basis of change is the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
The basis for change is the name of Jesus. Of course, there are many changes in people.
A person is born again only by the Holy Spirit and only in the name of Jesus.
The name of Jesus is the supreme, supreme, supreme, final message of the saints.
And as his story was told, the name of Jesus was spread.
Why can only Jesus be truly transformed?
This is because Jesus is the only one who gave to all people under the name of salvation.
Your sins are forgiven in the name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus, we are called the Son of God.
We became the people of the kingdom of heaven in the name of Jesus.
Prayers are answered in the name of Jesus.
Dear saints,
Let 2012 change.
Be transformed into God's faithful servants in the name of Jesus!!
