Title: Inheritance from Adam (Romans 08:6-8)
Contents An emergency trial was held in the kingdom of heaven. The jury and the judge enter, and the trial begins. And the criminal is brought before the judge. The sinner's name is human. And his charge is irreparable corruption. Auschwitz, Cambodia, Bosnia and Palestine were taken as evidence. And here, the people who had been brutally killed came out on the jury. They condemned the sinner, man. The heavenly armies and angels who have been monitoring the sinner's actions so far are also condemned. Finally, the Supreme Judge, the God of Righteousness, acknowledges man's sin, and the final judgment is made. Humans are guilty. By the way, why did humans have to repeat such foolish things because of human sin? Although man was not originally created to sin, when Adam sinned, his character was changed. Before the fall of Adam, man had the possibility of choosing, before sin, to sin or not to sin. The possibility of choice alone does not constitute a sin.
But after Adam chose to disobey God, Adam's sinful nature was passed on to all descendants. Human beings are now deprived of their freedom not to sin. What does that mean? It doesn't mean that man is a sinner because he has sinned, but that he sins because he is a sinner. Look at Romans 5:12. Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so death spread to all men because all sinned. After all, Adam's sin separated man from a holy God. Everyone, at least once, is placed in a state of being a sinner, having nothing to do with God, and alienated from God. However, admitting that we are sinners is the first step in our turning to our Heavenly Father in Jesus Christ.
Pray before the Lord to confess your sins. And believe that the Lord has heard that prayer. Then everyone who asks for forgiveness can experience a truly forgiving, merciful Lord. Today, I pray that this day will be a day where we can confess our true self and live freely before the Lord who listens to our small groans.
