inner person
(Ephesians 3:14-21)
(…) The word “inner man” appears frequently in the Bible. Believers do not live by what they see, but are people who are invisible but go toward eternal values.(…) Today, many people think and act centered on the outward person, so there are times when life goes astray. Because God is a Spirit, he communicates with the inner man.(…) The inner man is the hidden man in the heart. It is not visible. It is incorruptible, undefiled, and does not fade.(…) The poor in spirit, the mourners, the meek, the merciful, the pure in heart, and the peacemakers are the inner hearts. The inner man is created only after being born again.(…) Then, where does this inner man take root?
First, the inner man takes root in faith.
(…) Faith is not a philosophy that believes in my knowledge or intellect. It is believing in God's promises. Faith is God's gift to those who have accepted Jesus, the Son of God, as the Christ. What is the content of belief? ① I believe in the Bible. ②Believe that Jesus is the Son of God ③Believe that my sins have been cleansed by dying on the cross for my sins.(…) Based on this faith, our inner man is born. When we have this faith, God sees us as ‘righteous’. (…)
Second, the inner man has hope.
People have desires that are not satisfied with the present. God has planted wishes in the hearts of those who are filled with dissatisfaction (Philippians 2:13). And human beings develop, develop, and mature life through that desire. He makes you choose the best thing and makes you take creative actions to fulfill your wishes. (…) Hope makes you persevere, and human hope is in establishing the will of Christ on this earth. Put our lives in God's promises. Our inner man is getting stronger day by day.
Third, the inner man is made perfect through love.
(…) It was the power of love that Jesus overcame the world, and it was the power of love that the early Christians overcame the power of Rome. The weakest can become the strongest when they possess the power of God. Christianity is a religion that wins battles with the power of God. Without faith, hope, and love, it is not enough. (…) Because we receive God’s love, our relationship with God continues. The inner man is perfected in the love of God.(…) The best Christian meets God at the place of worship. The place of worship is the ideal place for Christians. In the place of victory over despair, the inner person receives power. The place of evangelism is the ideal place for the inner person. Amen
