Title: Instrument of Justice (Romans 06:12-23)
Content 1. There is a feeling of justice in people's hearts. There is a certain kind of anger that rises from the depths of your heart when you see an unjust reality or experience something embarrassing. When you see someone who is tormenting the weak and the poor, something intolerable happens. It is the inner workings of justice. However, in this day and age, does justice really exist? Justice is not an expectation of personal desire, but a measure that makes us aware. The human rights situation in our country has not improved yet. We do not dare to use our hands on intellectual crimes that are becoming more ferocious and sophisticated.
2. First we need to understand how to be an instrument of our justice. To become an instrument of justice for God, ① We must reject the body's lust. Sometimes we believe that physical satisfaction is the only thing in our life, but it is not eternal, and when we reach the kingdom of God, we are bound to collapse. We must follow sound teachings, cultivate good will, and accomplish the work of unity with the same heart. (2 Tim 4:3, 1 Pet 1:14, Ephesians 4:22, James 1:14) ② It goes beyond the limitations of the law. Christians are no longer moved by the law, but practice God's love, which is the essence of the law, to others. To become an instrument of justice for God is not salvation through the law but through faith (Rom. 2:13, Ro 13:8, Gal 5:4, Gal 5:14) ③ We must be free from sin. No one can claim us guilty anymore.
Because God no longer condemns us. Now, according to the abundant grace of Christ, we must receive the forgiveness of sins and serve one another in love (Galatians 5:1,13; Ephesians 1:7; Col 2:13).
4. What are the blessings given to us who have become instruments of justice ① We dwell under the grace of God. We are no longer bound by iniquity, iniquity, and the law, and we live under the grace of God. My personal value is given when we confess to each other that we are human beings created in the image of God, not starting from ourselves. (2 Chronicles 6:14, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 2 Tim. 1:9) ② We have eternal life in the Lord. What is given by God's grace is righteousness, holiness, and eternal life, and among them, eternal life is God's most precious gift. How we use this gift well will determine our life. It is because if you differ in righteousness, you will reap righteousness; if you sow evil, you will also reap evil. (John 17:3, Gal 6:8) ③ It is acceptable to God as a righteous life. There is no righteous life in this world, and anyone can be an instrument of justice. But self-obtained justice cannot be true justice. Only the fear of God is the precious thing that God accepts (Psalm 44:3; Acts 10:35). We are to be fighters of righteousness for God.
