The inevitable choice and concentration (Zechariah 4:1-14)
1. The book of Zechariah is a minor prophet containing the prophecies of the prophet Zechariah.
(1) Zechariah became a prophet as a descendant of a captive born in Babylon.
(2) The vision of the pure gold lighthouse (verses 1-2) The two olive trees on the left and right of the pure gold lampstand are messengers of the Lord (Revelation 1:20, 3).
2. How should we serve the Lord?
(1) By the Holy Spirit (verse 6).
- It shows that the work of God is the work of the Holy Spirit of God.
-The building of the temple is possible only with the Spirit of God. Because the temple is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
(2) By the grace of God (v. 7).
- God's way is to pray for grace to come. Not only did Zerubbabel start it when he first put it, but his hand will also finish it (vv. 8, 9).
-Philippians 1:6. I believe that the good work in us will be finished by the one who begins a good work in you until the day of Christ Jesus. God doesn't just start a job, He always completes it. you finish God as Alpha is Omega.
-Who is it that says it's a small thing, and that this day, when the door of great history opens today, is a trivial day? (verse 10)
※ What is your biggest mountain? Was there something that ran out in bewilderment because neither strength nor ability could help?
⑶ Through the man of God (v. 11). These are the anointed ones. The branches of the two olive trees, both of which represent the two anointed men (verse 14). When I reach my limit, struggle with it, and pray, the Lord always hears these words. “By my spirit alone”
Who will these two future leaders be? This is a symbol of the church.
How did Jesus send His disciples out to evangelize? two by two. Because only then will the evidence be established. The church is a community of witness. It is a community of witnesses. The church must fulfill this mission. The person of the Holy Spirit does not live by my own strength. Life is beautiful. It's not hard. It can affect everyone. When we pray, the fullness of the Holy Spirit is poured out, and only then can we have God's heart and carry out God's work. oil goes in. So what happens? A golden candlestick shines from the lamp. light up the darkness.
