Title: Invitation to Happiness (John 04:4-30)

Content Dr. Victor Frankle, in his experience memoir “Experience in Prison”, which documented the horror of the genocide of the Jews during World War II, found the following two facts in the nightmare of the Auschwitz prison. He says he realized it. “First, human beings are as good as dead the moment their hopes for tomorrow come alive, and second, however, even in relatively difficult and painful moments, as long as they have hope, they can endure the situation.

Beloved saints! Now do you have hope for the future that can overcome the pain and suffering of today, so can you say you are happy?

A long time ago, an alienated woman in Samaria, an abandoned land, met the Lord with this problem. There she could experience rebirth with the hope of eternal life. what led her to happiness

First, it was the Lord's visit to give us eternal life (verse 9).

Jesus looked into the woman's life. He knew that there was an emptiness in her life that could not be filled. So he was waiting for her at the well. It was no accident that she met Jesus. And it is no coincidence that you met the Lord today. The Lord has been waiting for you here. To fill your empty life...

Second, the woman responded to the Lord's invitation (verse 15).

“Lord, give me this water so that I will not be thirsty!” It was the woman's answer to the Lord's invitation to give him the water of eternal life. Today our Lord gives you the same invitation. He says, “Come to me and drink the water of eternal life without cost!” what is your answer today

Third, in order to drink from the net, the woman was asked to clear her past life (verses 16-19).

The Lord pointed out all the traces of wandering for the woman's unfulfilled desires in life, and asked to liquidate them all. Do you not have any of these traces left? Are you still trying to fill the void in your life with the vain ways of the world? Come to the Lord. And leave everything to him. Clearing the past...

Fourth, she accepted Jesus (verses 28-30).

The Bible dramatically expresses the scene where the woman finally accepted Jesus as the Messiah, or Savior, and tested because she could not overcome her joy. Today, you too need such an overwhelming moment.

Dear brothers and sisters! Receive Jesus now. Accept the invitation of Jesus, who promises happiness in your empty life where expectations and hopes for the future are fading away. Jesus loves you!
