Title: Invitation to Ranch Church/Philemon 1:1~7
Our church no longer uses the word district and calls it a ranch church. The ranch church is not a level of managing a few families, but a small house church and a house church.
1. Ranch Church is an extended family church.
Today, as we live in the age of nuclear families, we are losing our longing for extended families. As the number of church members increases, we don't feel like a family. An alternative to this is the Ranch Church. We do not end with only Sunday worship, but if 5-6 families gather in small groups during the week to share their joys and sorrows, we can feel a true sense of family solidarity.
2. Ranch Church is a church of all priests.
It has been argued that only priests in the Old Testament and priests or priests in the Middle Ages could enter the Holy of Holies and worship God, and that they were the only way to meet God.
However, the greatest contribution left by the Reformation led by Martin Luther and John Calvin is that anyone saved by the discovery of the universal priesthood is a priest and anyone can come before God.
However, one task left behind by the Reformation is that all saved saints must carry out their work as priests before God.
3. Ranch Church is Koinonia Church.
The essence of Ranch Church is koinonia, and its true meaning is participation in life and sharing of life.
Koinonia Church is about opening up your heart and talking about life, helping and encouraging each other, and opening and building your life.
When we share the joys and sorrows of all of us at Ranch Church, we experience the healing and comfort of the Holy Spirit.
4. Ranch Church is an evangelism-oriented church.
Our Bupyeong Calvary Church is formed by the gathering of numerous ranches.
A healthy ranch needs to be divided and grown like cells. However, a ranch that cannot grow apart is a sick ranch.
The reason Jesus called his disciples was to call other disciples through them.
Jesus said, “Therefore, go ye and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19), an absolute command and like a will.
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you may go and bear fruit, and that your fruit may abid, that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you” (John 15:16). ) to explain why you have chosen us.
Ranch Church is the most perfect model of evangelism where you can easily contact neighbors and have natural encounters.
