Title: Is He Stabbed? (Isa 53:4-6)
What is he stabbed? (Isa 53:4-6)
Is he stabbed?
Isaiah 53:4-6
Introduction
If you look in the media, an adult who has lived once in a while appears to give freshness and a challenge to a harsh and bleak world. However, the living saint only dies and saves one person.
However, about 2000 years ago, there was a living saint who saved the dead in the universe, and that person is Jesus Christ.
Before Jesus came to this earth in the flesh, He was in heaven as the body of God. In the beginning, He created the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all things, and created man as well.
However, I would like to share the grace of God by telling the story of Jesus, who is the very essence of God, taking on flesh, coming to this earth, suffering and becoming a living saint.
1. What God has done
1) He sent his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to this earth as a savior.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:17 “God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through him.”
John 6:44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up on the last day.”
2) He bore the sins of the people on Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 53:6 “We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
2. The posture of Jesus Christ's suffering on the cross
1) He was despised, but he did not resist.
Isaiah 53:3 “He is despised and rejected by men”
Isaiah 53:8 “He was humiliated and tried”
Isaiah 53:9 “He committed no violence, and no deceit was found in his mouth.”
2) He suffered without words.
Isaiah 53:7 “He was oppressed and afflicted, and yet he did not open his mouth; like a lamb to the slaughter, and a sheep silent before its shearers, so he did not open his mouth.”
3) Instead of hating, I prayed for forgiveness.
In Luke 23:34, Jesus Christ prayed for those who crucified Him, saying, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”
3. Why Jesus Christ suffered on the cross
1) To set us free from suffering.
Isaiah 53:4 “Surely he has borne our sorrows and borne our sorrows; but we thought that he was chastised, smitten by God, and afflicted.”
The cause of disease and suffering is sin, and He took on our sins and suffered in order to set us free from our sins and set us free from disease and suffering.
2) To set us free from our transgressions and sins.
Isaiah 53:5 “He was pierced for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and with his wounds we are healed.”
Hebrews 9:26 “Now He has appeared at the end of the world to take away sin by the sacrifice of Himself once for all.”
Hebrews 9:28 “Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many, and will appear a second time, free of sin, for salvation to those who are waiting for him.”
We were at peace with God because of our sin, and we were neither peaceful nor happy. But Jesus suffered on the cross to pay the price for our sins by being bruised and pierced and to give us peace.
4. Blessings for those who believe in Jesus who suffered
1) You will be freed from heavy burdens and pain.
Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
2) You will be freed from the curse.
Galatians 3:13 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us.”
3) We are set free from sin
Romans 8:1-2 “There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.”
4) You will be freed from judgment.
Hebrews 9:27 “It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.”
John 5:24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.”
conclusion
We are having Lent. Lent is a season that counts backwards from the day before Easter and is observed for 40 days (February 25-April 10) excluding Sundays. As long as you and your family and anyone believe in God and Jesus Christ as living saints, all sins can be forgiven. It is a feast observed while remembering the suffering of the Lord, who suffered and died on the cross to forgive and give eternal life.
During this feast period, believers must be alert and sober, live a godly life, fulfill their mission better, and use the old self as an opportunity to be reborn by nailing the cross.
I pray that you will be spiritually hotter, stronger, and richer.
