Title: Is Salvation Obtained? will you get

Contents

God wants all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. This great salvation, which will never perish again, but to have eternal life through Christ Jesus, is what the Bible says is “the will of God.” Regarding this, the Bible exhorts us, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, which is good and pleasing and perfect” (Romans 12:2).

As a faithful Son, Jesus Christ, sent by God, fulfilled the will of God who sent him through the death of man. It is written, “Then I said, ‘Lord, behold, I have come to do your will, as it is written about me in the scroll” (Hebrews 10:7). to do and to complete his work” (John 4:34).

Therefore, Jesus Christ, the faithful Son of the One who sent, fulfilled all his “good and acceptable and perfect will” by which God so loved the world. It is written, “After Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, It is finished.” He bowed his head and died” (John 19:30).

God's salvation for the world has been accomplished in Christ Jesus. Therefore, by raising him from the dead, he has made him the hope of all who believe. It is as it is written, “After that he waits until he makes his enemies his footstool, by one sacrifice he has perfected forever those who have been sanctified” (Hebrews 10:13-14).

So, is this salvation obtained? Or is it salvation to be gained? Regarding this, the Bible says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8). “Faith” is “the substance of what we hope for, and the evidence that we do not see”.

The Bible says, “Do not let your hearts be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me” (John 14:1). That is why the Bible says that salvation is obtained through faith and hope. As it is written, “For by hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope. Who can expect to see?” (Romans 8:24). All that has been accomplished is being accomplished within us.

The Bible says that we have been saved and that we will also be saved. Therefore, salvation is also referred to as “the incorruptible seed” and also “the fruit that leads to holiness.” The seed is the alpha and the fruit is the omega. That is why it is written, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end” (Revelation 22:13).

Therefore, salvation is the process of making what is obtained as a seed into fruit. The first to accomplish this in this world is Christ, the firstfruits. Therefore, our saved Christ is “the way, the truth, and the life.” The road has an end, the truth is growing up to knowledge, and life is growing up to the fulfillment of hope. To accomplish all these things, God has given the gift of faith, hope and love to us who are being saved in Christ Jesus our Lord.

That is why the truth says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). Therefore, salvation is neither past nor present nor future. It is the will of God, which He foreordained in Christ Jesus according to His foreknowledge in Christ Jesus from eternity to eternity. It is written, "...My Father works until now, and I work..." (John 5:17).

This is why the Bible says, “...Beloved, always obey, not only in my presence, but even more now in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling” (Philippians 2:12). Therefore, salvation has been obtained, and the obtained salvation is also working out. Without salvation, that faith is vain, and that faith is a dead faith.

The Spirit of truth is always present in those who believe. This spirit of truth is the spirit of the Son. That is why the Bible says, “He who has the Son has life, and he who does not have the Son of God does not have life” (1 John 5:12). Those who have a son are children of God together with Christ Jesus.

Therefore, salvation is being worked out now. That is why he testified, “Not that I have already obtained it, nor that it has been perfected, but I am pursuing that for which I was captured by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:12).

Salvation without fruit is not salvation. Thank you Lord.
