Title: It's a blessing to be hurt

<Life itself is a blessing>

All of man's future is under the hand of God (verse 1). Also, all people are alike in the face of death (v. 2). To die after cherishing an evil heart for the rest of your life without realizing that fact is the worst of all evil things, and there is no such thing as such a pity (verse 3). What is the blessing? Living a good life is a blessing. Furthermore, the evangelist says that life itself is a blessing (verse 4).

There are many possibilities for repentance, change, and blessing if you are alive, but death outside the Lord has no hope and no such tragic death. Therefore, you have to work hard and live somehow. We must not become already dead before we die, but we must live diligently and enter eternal life through death in the Lord. No matter how desperate and miserable life is, it is happier than the dead.

Now be thrilled with life itself, excited about everything that happens in life, and have a holy optimism that in God all life will eventually work out. If you are in the Lord, you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). There is a saying that if you accept Jesus, you will be born again, but it also means that if you live in Jesus, a new work can always begin. So, don't dwell on the past and have a lot of hope.

Evil seems stronger than good, but good is stronger than evil. Always try to laugh and let your heart overflow with joy and gratitude. Do not waver in your faith and expect good results even when there are no good signs. How beautiful does the world look when the sun shines bright after a dark and gloomy night? Just looking at the dew on the blade of grass makes life itself precious. When does that ecstasy become more intense? It's time to feel the presence of God. If you can feel the presence of God even on dark and distressing days, your life will be ecstatic.

<It is a blessing to be hurt>

The dead have no possibility of change, no more hope, and above all, their name is forgotten (v. 5). Forgetting is a tragedy among tragedies and misfortunes among misfortunes. Above all else, another reason why the evangelist asserts that the dead are the most unfortunate is that the dead have no feelings (verse 6). How unfortunate is it to lose your emotions? In that sense, being hurt is also happiness. Because it means that emotions are still alive.

Nowadays, many people groan because of their broken hearts. How do you get over that hurt? People are admonishing you to be generous. That's right. Having a generous heart increases your ability to overcome wounds.

In passenger ships heading for the ocean, the windows in the cabin are convex rather than flat. Flat windows are fragile when hit by waves or storms, but convex windows are not broken because they embrace the wind and dissipate pressure. When the waves and storms of the world come like that, if your heart is flat, it is easy to break and break, but if you make your heart round and embrace the waves of the world, you can overcome any wound. However, when the wound is severe, there are times when even a generous heart cannot overcome it.

What is needed at that time is to have the belief that “wounds are meant to be together as fateful companions to those with feelings, and if you overcome those wounds well, you will eventually benefit. Don't be afraid to hurt. Consider having a broken heart a blessing and overcome it with faith. When your heart hurts, you say, “Oh! I am alive now! Life itself is thrilling!” When you think about it, the joy of overcoming sadness will well up in your heart.

Don't try to be too special. Then it hurts more. Just know life itself as a blessing, strive to be more remembered by people, and have strong faith that is not particularly afraid of hurt. Just as a barley that has grown up in an abnormal turmoil raises its head and loses its roots, do not become an unfortunate being who strays from the path of blessing with vain conceit, and make a short life beautiful with love, humility and service.
