Bible: James 4:13-17
Tomorrow is the first day of the holiday. We hope that this Chuseok holiday will be a period of generating a net surplus. Jews are famous for making a surplus in whatever they do. From cash as well as commercial districts to all areas, it exerts a powerful influence. They are said to be players who sell products they do not need. We have to work hard in our lives.
2 Thessalonians 3:10 "If anyone does not want to work, he should not eat.
If you do, you will become rich and have a surplus.
is. Luke 12:20 "You fool, tonight your soul will be retrieved, and whose will will your preparations be?
1. We must depend only on the Lord.
In this world, a lot of things happen because of money. Because of it, the family is ruined and life is ruined because of it. Gehazi, Ananias, Sapphira, and Judas Iscariot also died for money and were put to shame. Neither power nor money. The world is holding its breath these days due to terrorist incidents in the United States. Don't rely on power. We must try to conquer the world with the love of the heart and the gospel of the Lord. The United States refused and left the United Nations Conference on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination in Durban, South Africa three weeks ago. And pressure to cancel the A.B.M agreement with ballistic missiles (A.B.M) announced its withdrawal from the Agreement on Climate Change. Less than two weeks later, there was a terrorist attack. God loves all people with the Gospel. The world does not end with the power of military politics and economy. Now we are embroiled in a faceless, targetless war. You have to depend only on the Lord.
2. A life with net profit and surplus must do good
It is only through Jesus that we must solve life's problems. Only through Jesus you have to pay the surplus of eternal life. You all know the rich man and Lazarus well. The rich man was given the opportunity to do a lot of good with his wealth and the heart of God. But I missed that opportunity. Lazarus was poor and beggar, but he did good. It was a good thing in itself to live by faith. The good is Jesus.
**Terrorists who hijacked the plane and headed for the White House were stopped. It was because of the Christians. A few Christian travelers found out about this and simply called their wife home to make a will of their love, and after praying the Lord that we must do great things for our country, we attacked them and put the crisis into death. The plane crashed and they went to God. To them, they were people who lived by doing good, living with the Lord Himself rather than life, joy, and comfort. I thought they were nerdy black people.
** When a man on his way from Jerusalem to Jericho met a robber, neither the priest nor the Levite turned their faces and passed by. However, the Samaritan met the robber and took action to help him out of the crisis and asked for a favor until later. did good.
I pray in the name of the Lord that you will have a holiday with a net profit surplus.
